"I rank Landson Construction #1 in the list of contractors we have hired in our 40 years of home ownership. Ari and his team of subcontractors recently completed a challenging remodel of one of our bathrooms--challenging because it is a very small area with limited space. Their finished job looks better than our separate remodel of a larger bathroom completed by one of the big firms that advertises daily on television. Examples: the tile work in our small shower is exceptional, and the vanity/oversized sink is a perfect match that does not dominate the small room. Ari Erickson (no relation to me) offered selections from his preferred vendors, but we had full latitude to shop on our own for all tile and fixtures. He and his subcontractors kept us fully apprised at all stages of the project, arrived promptly throughout the course of the work, responded promptly to our texts and emails, and cleaned up their work area at the end of each day. My highest recommendation: I always seek at least four bids for a major project, but I would forego that process and hire Landson Construction again for future building/remodeling projects, and would encourage friends and family to do the same."

"Awful. This company has good reviews but was absolutely awful for me. Called because of a water leak which is supposed to be one of their specialties. They had me hire a separate inspector/specialist to evaluate the home exterior. They then tore a hole in our kitchen ceiling looking for the water leak. When they had difficulty identifying the origin of the leak they simply abandoned the project with a hole in the middle of our kitchen ceiling. Finding water leaks is difficult and I don't blame for having difficulty locating the leak but abandoning the project with a gaping hole in our kitchen is really extraordinarily bad service."

"I wanted to add a sunroom and deck to the back of my house. Stonehearth really listen to what I wanted to do and made suggestions on how to make my project even better. I liked their transparent pricing. It helped me see what things cost. The project management team was great to work with. They kept me informed about what was going on and when problems came up, they came to me with solutions. I would definitely hire them again. "

They helped us really visualize what we could do with the space and helped us through all the major decisions with guidance on what would look good based on my own interests and style. The crew that worked on the house was great too! They kept to the general timeline and communicated well. "I hired Twin City Home Services to tear down a wall, correct plumbing/electrical in my kitchen, and upgrade a custom workspace desk. All the work was expertly done on a timely basis. I really can't say enough good things about TCHS. Easily a 10/10. My house is older and has some unique features and they adapted and corrected. TCHS was reasonably priced and HONEST. I had some scope changes where they could have taken advantage but did not. I recommend TCHS for most projects. I'll never call anyone else."

He’s very responsive, upfront, and easy to communicate with, something that can be hard to find with larger companies. A few issues came up during the project and Jay was always willing to work through them without hesitation. I appreciated that he was honest about what needed to be done and flexible with a smaller scope that other contractors didn’t want to take time with. Overall, a positive experience working with a small, local business. I would hire him again for similar projects."

"I worked with Ben Jensen, who claimed to be a half-owner of the company, and after months of lies and false promises, he told me that the insurance paid for the crew of Ben to install a new roof on my house, and that was it. The rest of the work the siding, the screens, and the gutters seemed like Ben Jensen just took my money, but no one else did anything else. Just more lies and false promises. I hired a new contractor who promised to do the rest of the work the insurance paid for within 2 days of Ben Jensen returning my unused portion of the insurance money, and I am still waiting. No contact; just lies and false promises. This has been going on from May 2022 to now, December 2022, and I am still waiting!"
