"I was a little nervous about ordering windows on the internet using measurements I'd taken myself, but I loved the design on the website so, initially I only ordered 2 windows to check the quality, my ability to measure accurately and the company's ability to build to my measurements. Jeff, the salesman I dealt with was attentive without being overwhelming and the first order was delivered in about 4 weeks. The windows were exactly what I was looking for and fitting them was a breeze. "We ended up interviewing 8 siding companies and narrowed our choices to DH Construction and another company. Since my husband and I had differing opinions on who we needed to hire we invited the final two back out for a final discussion. After hearing the two proposals again, my husband and I felt like DH Construction was not going to rush through, would remove all the wood rot (others wanted to cover-up the rot on the fascia boards), and give us the quality workmanship that we both wanted. We felt like Brian was a very honest person and wanted to give us the best product possible.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> As the job started my husband and I were very nervous with the amount of money the project would cost and we knew that there was a high probability of damage that we couldn't see. However, our nerves began to subside and we began to see that Brian and his team were dedicated to doing a quality job while providing the most information to us as possible. They uncovered termite damage at the garage, rot on a sil joist, and rot around our window, however, they always took the time to explain the problem, possible solutions and discussed the costs of replacing with us prior to proceeding. His team was very quick to respond to any concerns that we had and when we asked Brian to come out and discuss one of the repairs he was at our house at 7 am the next day so we could discuss it. He was quick to return any phone calls and always wanted to make sure as a customer we were satisfied with the outcome. His team was very flexible and completed additional work that we added on to the original quote such as replacing our soffits, covering our vented gables (due to a new vented roof), and painting our shed. All which he quickly agreed to complete without any hesitation. All of his crews that came to the house to work were fantastic, they are experts at their job and worked hard the whole time they were here.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> We have had several complements on the house since it was complete and my husband keeps stating that house is more structurally sound today than it was 17 years ago when he bought it.  <br /> <br /> We are more than happy with the quality and service that DH Construction provided. Brian constantly stated throughout the process that he wanted us to be completely satisfied with the final product and we couldn't be more happy. "The pros at Hendersonville Aluminum did an excellent job for us. They replaced 10 windows with Win-Core high-quality double hungs. This was not a simple job; due to previous, hamfisted window replacement, most windows had to be extensively reframed. None of the old windows had proper insulation and were not even nailed in right! Two were smaller than the original size, requiring extensive siding repair. They also created an exterior siding frame for a window already in place but not trimmed. Danny (owner of Hvl Aluminum) explained in detail the work that would be needed to do the job right, not cobble it together as others had offered to do. He came across as experienced, sincere, and interested in the work, not a slick salesman. Their work was as professional as promised. They were prompt, tidy, and persistent in doing a very challenging job. They drew on decades of experience to do our job and do it well. They gave us quality windows, superior framing, and improved the home's insulation significantly. When we replace other windows and doors, I will not hesitate to call them."

"We built a new home with CHI Construction. The experience was wonderful from the beginning of discussions to the finished product. The staff was very professional and timely. Calvin provided creative ideas that we would not have thought of like stamped concrete, a sealed crawlspace and others We have received so many compliments on our home and I still feel that Calvin is a phone call away if I have r questions or concerns. "Once they got to our home, the work itself was done well and those that performed the work were professional and helpful.  The work supervisor, Buddy was very helpful and accomodating. Really enjoyed working with him.   My frustration came in with the project manager.  I reached out around June 19th or so.  Didn't hear anything from anyone so I emailed again on June 26th. Finally met with him on or around July 11th.  Duirng that time, we had made some changes but didn't get the estimate on the work until Aug 12th with an apology for the delay.  Going back to the emails, I think I have 6 "apologies for the delay" emails.  Work finally began on or about Sept 1.  Adjustments needed to be made to the bill but I never got the new invoice.  I had to reach out in November to get the final. I received the final invoice in December.  <br /> I again reached out to Andrew Roby for siding work.  Reached out in January, sent some pictures to the project manager and never heard back until March at which point I finally received an invoice on additional carpentry repair that was done in December  .  At that point I told them to never mind and informed him that I would no longer be using them. <br /> While I do appreciate the work they did and the work was done well, the overall responsiveness by the project manager made me go elsewhere.  I got the feeling that the handy man work I was asking for may have been too small for this company, in which case, they should have mentioned up front.  If you don't mind waiting forever for things to happen, you'll be happy.  Again, the work itself was done well and the folks that came out were great. <br />"

"Work exceeded expectations! Price was very reasonable. They completed the job quickly and took great care to protect anything that was not to be painted (sidewalks, deck, shrubs). Communication throughout the process was outstanding. No details were left out - even painted the mailbox post to match the house trim color! It was clear that they took great pride in their work and wanted to make us happy with the finished product. We could not have anticipated a better experience and would certainly use them again!"

"Excellent!, we had a list of 7 small tasks. Robert was all business and very professional. He solved several problems that had us puzzled. One issue, a sticking back door, we had a previous (unsatisfactory) handyman look at. He said to fix it the door would need to be removed, a lot of time consuming work. We didn’t have him tackle such a big project. After carefully evaluating problem Robert fixed it in minutes with 3-4 nails. I will be calling him again as needed and feel comfortable giving him an excellent review!!"
