"Hired for a job in Historic St Augustine. Was very upfront on the location of the house. Scheduled for 8:30 am. At 8:55 am the day of the job, the plumber called and was like "Oh, you're way down in St Augustine." Umm, yeah. He didn't show up until 9:45 am. Needed him to fix an outside water spigot and he did the job. Then needed to address poor water pressure in a bathroom sink. Assumed it was a clogged aerator. He could not remove the aerator but he did check the water pressure and it was good. The next day I watched a youtube video and removed the aerator myself. There was another fine mesh one behind it. Could not remove that so I ended up replacing the faucet myself. Now it works fine. Would I recommend? Eh, probably not. If St Augustine is too far to drive to make an 8:30 appointment, tell me up-front. And no, did not get any discount for making me wait. In fact he was there a little over an hour and I got charged for 1.25 hours."

Most other companies were at least a week for an estimate and then they would have to schedule an installer to come back on a different day, Snyder sent a tech out to do the estimate which was on par or slightly less then other companies and then he did an above average install. His install went way beyond how I was proposing to do it and definitely a lot nicer of an install."

"I was quite surprised when the owner of the company answered the phone when I called. Ernie was very professional and sent his guy over within an hour or two. Although Ernie did not perform the actual work, his employee was very professional and knowledgeable. Ernie (the owner) even came by to check on the job! My Dad was a custom home builder and was always heavily involved in his jobs and in contact with the owners so I appreciate that type of pride of ownership. All in all a very positive experience. It probably was not the cheapest route I could have gone but I got good quality equipment installed "the right way". Again, from my history with the way my Dad ran his business I much prefer to pay a fair price for quality. That is what I got with Professor Plumb. Hopefully I won't need a plumber again anytime soon but, if I do, I will definitely call Professor Plumb.
