This was accomplished within the first three hours. Next, they laid the new tar paper, water shield, new Solar Attic Fans, and all new drip edge. While they were finishing laying all the new very high-quality 25-Year roofing shingles part of their team was back on the ground cleaning up all the debris, magnetically getting all the old nails out of the yard. By 2:00 PM they were 100% finished, put all our furniture back on our porch and were on their way. Mr. Batty was constantly checking on his crew and by 3:30 PM that very same day he took the final pictures using his drone plus walking on the roof and from the yard. I paid him for his final installment, and he was on his way with a very satisfied customer, my wife and I (plus our son) highly recommend Steven Batty Construction."

I liked the sales pitch but had to cut it short (to an hour) as I had to go pick up my son. The sales ‘expert’ said he’d send me a quote along with other pertinent information the next day. After a week with no word, I called back and received an apology from customer service and was guaranteed to hear back regarding the quote within 48 hours. Another week passed and I called again. Got the same treatment from customer service along with the same promise of contact within 48 hours. It’s been another week now and obviously they have no intention of following up on this. He walked through the interior with me, then carefully inspected the entire roof outside. He took clear, detailed photos and organized them so I could understand exactly what was happening. Those photos were key evidence for my State Farm claim. I had contacted four roofing companies before—none of them came close to the level of detail Brian provided. 2. Brian joined the insurance meeting and helped me WIN approval When State Farm sent their adjuster, Brian came immediately—even though they arrived early. He waited patiently for the third-party inspector (who was late), and then walked them through every problem area. He clearly explained the hail damage, the leaks, and exactly why it needed approval. Honestly, State Farm is famous for being strict, but with Brian’s help, I finally got approved for a full roof replacement. I was so relieved and grateful. 3. He also helped me get approval for interior repairs There were water stains inside my house caused by the roof leak. I didn’t even know I could include this in the claim, but Brian talked to the adjuster directly and helped me get additional coverage for the interior repairs as well. This is the kind of detail and professionalism you rarely see. 4. The installation team was also excellent Once approved, the Artisan team finished the entire roof in one day. Fast, clean, and high quality. They also found a few issues (like an old dryer vent), took pictures, and sent me updates during the day so I always knew what was happening. Every step felt responsible and transparent. 5. Great communication, great local company From emails about payment, to warranty details, to color selection—they were always clear, quick, and helpful. It feels good to work with a local, trustworthy, professional company. "They came out the day of my call to inspect roof and informed of issues present. A few days later we had our roof on the house and both buildings replaced all in one day. We also had beautiful black gutters installed. Solid work would recommend them to anyone needing roof or gutter work"

"DO NOT USE, They have no integrity, cut corners and hide their issues. They do not seem to understand the basic understanding of water flow and overlapping of roofing materials. At first I thought that they maybe had a bad guy on their crew that was cutting corners, but after asking them to repair their mistakes, I realized that the Owner doesn't know or care about quality. They left nails all over the driveway and around the house. They improperly installed drip edge, ridgevent, step flashing and starter shingles. Upon attempted repair, they tore and folded shingles. They now refuse to repair the damage they created. Please be aware that I know the owner of the company personally through events done together and if he is willing to do this to me, imagine what he is willing to hide and refuse to repair if he doesn't know you. They will hide issues and cut corners every chance they get and the pictures prove the quality of the install."
