"Over the past couple of years, I’ve had a persistent rodent issue that no one seemed to be able to get under control. Kevin came out for a free inspection and identified numerous areas that had been missed, giving me the most effective way to move forward. Within several days, the rodent activity had stopped, and I really felt comfortable knowing the warranty coverage would protect my home against any future activity. A+!"

"Brad was great to work with and got our job done efficiently and explained things in a way we could understand. He cleaned up a corner of the garage where we found an old pet stairs that had collected a lot of rat droppings. He also set a couple of rat traps and found that we were clean. Very professional, reasonable in price and demeanor. Highly recommend"

"Honest, friendly, courteous, quick responding, and an all around pleasure to do business with. From the first phone call to the final payment, Chad was upfront about the entire process. He never once tried to sell me on more than I needed. One might say he even attempted to discourage me from spending more knowing what other work I had upcoming. That is the type of integrity and honesty I enjoy from people. GRR s process got rid of the raccoon on the first night and then came back when schedule to finish the work. If you are unlucky enough to have an unwanted creature try and move in, I highly recommend Georgia Rodent Removal to get rid of the problem. Also, the process for raccoon removal was a repellent so the animal was unharmed in the process."

"Vinny was extremely patient and understanding. He came right away to remove a dead animal from out front that neither the city's sanitation department nor my HOA association would. He explained how he treated the area where the animal was decomposing so that it'll be sanitized yet safe."

"John was willing to take the job others were not and was able to completely remove the dead rodent nest in my house flue pipe. He did everything he could to minimize cost. I tipped him beyond the quoted price as job ended up being much more complicated than he anticipated."

"

Brian removed a large hornet nest from our house that was rapidly expanding outside our bedroom window. He said they were bald faced hornets and explained how he managed to destroy the nest without getting stung. He worked from the ground using a long pole with a brush to remove the nest while the hornets were buzzing around it. He explained that by first spraying and killing the "sentry" hornets and then not running away or acting afraid, they ignored him. No one got stung!

We had a discussion about removing bats. I was pleased to learn that they do not kill bats but install a sort of one-way gate over the opening so the bats can leave but not return. Since bats are very useful creatures and eat tons of mosquitos and other pesky insects, I was very much in agreement with this approach.

They also avoid killing other animals the get into houses like raccoons.

"Safe Haven Pest Solutions has been absolutely excellent to work with in the Atlanta Metro area. From the first inspection, their team has been professional, punctual, and genuinely attentive. They take the time to explain everything in plain terms, and their treatments have been incredibly effective—our home has stayed pest-free ever since they started service. What really sets them apart is how courteous and thorough the technicians are. You can tell they care about doing things right. Scheduling is easy, communication is prompt, and the pricing is fair for the quality of service provided. I’ve dealt with other companies in the past, but Safe Haven truly lives up to their name—they make your home feel protected and well cared for. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for dependable, trustworthy pest control in the Atlanta Metro area."

"I use Elite for termite control on one of my properties and also for general pest control needs.  They have been very profesional and
responsive.  Focussed on solving the issue at hand, not just taking your money like some service companies.
Have continued to use them for several pest related situations.  Would recommend them to others.h

FAQs for small animal pest control service projects in Atlanta, GA

Self-removal attempts using store-bought traps can cost $50, but require personal time investment and knowledge of proper handling techniques. While DIY methods might work for isolated cases, professionals bring expertise in identifying all entry points, implementing effective deterrents, and safely handling wildlife.

Consider your comfort level with wildlife management and the potential health risks—armadillos can carry disease—before deciding between professional services or personal intervention.

Most homeowners see initial results within two to five days after professional trap placement, particularly with single-animal situations. However, multiple factors can extend this timeline, including the number of animals present, weather conditions affecting activity patterns, and the complexity of your property layout.

Properties with established armadillo populations might require one to two weeks of active trapping. Discuss realistic timeframes with your wildlife specialist during the initial consultation to set appropriate expectations.

Filling and repairing burrows adds $75 to $110 per hole to your total project cost. While some comprehensive service packages include minor repairs, extensive landscape restoration requires a separate payment.

These repair costs cover materials like topsoil, sod, or concrete patching compounds, plus the labor to properly restore the damaged areas. Before finalizing any service agreement, clarify exactly which repair services are included and which will incur additional charges.

While armadillos remain active throughout the year in many regions, scheduling removal during less busy seasons for wildlife control companies might secure slightly better rates. Fall and winter months often see reduced demand for these services, potentially offering more scheduling flexibility and competitive pricing.

However, the most cost-effective approach is addressing armadillo issues promptly when first noticed, regardless of season, as delaying can lead to more extensive damage and higher ultimate costs.
