"My husband and I researched several (7) construction companies before choosing AMLO Custom Creations. From the initial communication, to the 2 different free walk-throughs/consultations as we changed our minds about what we wanted, to the tasks we added during the job, to the completion of the project, Kevin and Allison were kind, patient, flexible, accommodating, competent, knowledgeable and reassuring. Kevin is a thinker. When presented with a problem, he will problem solve and brainstorm until he finds a solution that is both safe (to code), appropriate and aesthetically pleasing to the client. Allison is his right-hand, a partner in business and recently his wife. They both have an eye for design and often have a friendly competition over who’s design idea will be accepted by the client. This duo is like a well-oiled machine; one thinking through the steps and the other supporting and following up on the details. They are professional, yet interested; focused, yet willing to stop and answer our questions (and we had a LOT); business oriented, yet fair. My husband and I are relationship oriented. For us, forming a relationship, especially with people who were to be in our personal spaces for several weeks, was critical. Now, after completion, we feel blessed to know Kevin and Allison as friends...the kind you can call in the middle of the night if you're stranded on the side of the road. It was the last day of the job - some finishing touches and a front entry door install. The door didn't fit, so back to the store they went. Our store didn't have the one we wanted but instead of asking us to pick a different door, without hesitation they chose to travel to a neighboring city to get the one we had decided on. They made sure we knew if there were any issues after they left, they wanted us to call and promised to take care of them. We have texted several times since they left with questions that they answered immediately. Our job consisted of scraping an entire floor of popcorn ceilings, installing canned lighting in 3 rooms, a living room accent wall, scraping and sanding ceiling beams, two door installations, and a full bathroom reno. We have fallen in love with our home again; the home we always knew it could be. Our future plans include hiring AMLO Custom Creations for an outside project just as soon as they can get us on the books."

"The bathroom, closet and hallway are exactly as we pictured it to be. Brian has been professional, transparent and skillful the entire project. We still need the bronze finished shower surround, sink faucets and p-traps installed, but he installed fixtures to make the bathroom fully functional as quickly as he could. The finishes are simply for esthetics. We painted everything and finished out the hallway with refurbished cabinets and finished the closet with shelving, so those are DIY. Forgive any flubs there. But Brian did all of the construction up to the flooring, sheetrock and trim being installed. We love it! The upgrades made us feel at home."

"We recently had New Century Builders perform some much-needed work on our 40-year-old home. All of the carpet and vinyl flooring was removed, the paneling was removed from the dining room and kitchen, and repairs made to sheetrock throughout the entire 1248 square foot house. The walls and ceilings were given a fresh coat of paint, luxury vinyl plank flooring installed, some of the subfloor was repaired, and acrylic wall panels installed in one bathroom. Although not a large crew, all of this work was completed on time (about 3-1/2 weeks), other repairs made that were not in the original scope of work, and all of the scrap removed. The owner and his crew could not have been easier to work with. Any items that came up during this project (and there are always unseen and unknown glitches that will arise in a project of this size) were discussed and tackled right away without any pushback or hesitation. Even minor problems that my wife and I did not see were repaired to assure that a quality job was rendered. At times, even before we could say anything, one of the crew would spot a defect and make the necessary repairs because they take pride in their work and wanted to make sure we were satisfied. Workers showed up not just on time but early every day they were scheduled to work. All of this was done for a fair price. We highly recommend Donnie Linkous and New Century Builders for any home remodeling projects that you may have. We will definitely keep them in mind for any future projects that arise. They are a 5-star business!"
