"Workers not sure about techniques to make 90 degree turns. Used hammer chisels instead of concrete saw for cuts. Made uneven appearance in existing driveway concrete. It will blend over time. Still waiting for City Inspection which is not Company's fault."

"I got 3 quotes and I could not be happier with choosing Concrete Corrections. They quoted me on exactly what I asked for. They are very knowledgeable -- they explained everything and answered all of my questions. Their price was much, much better than the 1st two quotes. They did an excellent job. I highly recommend them."

"Excellent ? They raised the sinking concrete, reinforced the rest and filled in all the cracks. My pool deck looks great again and we have no worries of kids tripping on the old uneven cracks."

"Expert House Movers brought a crew of 6-8 & came in late August 2013 to start the process of raising & moving the house.  My husband had done all the prep work of disconnecting the utilities & removing the furnace, etc. They dug access ramps to the old foundation/basement with bobcats.  They poked good sized holes around the foundation so they could put in steel beams and jack up the house.  Our foundation was from 1917 & built from old creek gravel cement, so it was pretty tough.  It took three & half days to jack the house & move it over the driveway.  It seemed really fast to me.  The only thing to fall in the house was a picture off the piano.  We still had access to the house through a tall ladder to get clothes, etc. that we needed. <br /> We took over the process of arranging excavation, concrete pouring, and carpenters with more local contractors.  Expert does have concrete people & others they use in the St Louis area that know exactly the requirements needed for the new foundation. <br /> After the basement was poured & cured (curing takes about 3-4 weeks), Expert returned in October 2013 to move & set the house.  They had been in contact with the concrete man for specifications, but there were no slots for the beams when setting the house down.  A concrete worker had to come & cut those slots.  We had a carpenter on hand to finish the sill installment & make sure the sills for the permanent beams was correct & set the support posts in the basement.  We also had a friend's tractor help Expert's bobcat pull the house back over the foundation.  While all this was going on, Expert was jacking and moving supports & placing slider beams & raising & lowering the house.  The process was complete in about 2 1/2 days with care & precision.  Some of the cracks in our house even disappeared.  Great job guys. <br /> Our carpenters returned to build a staircase & some other requirements.  We are working on re-connecting utilities & returning the furnace, water heater, etc. to the new basement.  We plan to move back into the house in the first week or so in November 2013.  It's been a long process, but well worth it.  Made possible by Expert House Movers! <br />"

"Sank huge poles into ground and pushed everything up and secured it. I have huge steel posts sunk deep into ground with concrete. They did a beautiful job! They were finished in about 2.5 hours. Our insurance took care of the payment."

"I called Turner's Contracting to see about getting an estimate for some repairs to my drywall and some concrete work done and within a couple of days Mr. Turner had come out to my house to see what I had in mind. I showed him the areas where the work needed to be done and what I was expecting and he gave me his feedback and ideas concerning the repairs and concrete work. He took some pictures and drew out what I had described to make sure we were both on the same sheet of music and by the end of the week he had contacted me with the official estimate. The estimate was lower than I was expecting so I agreed and by the next week Mr. Turner had his drywall/painters out to do the repairs and repainting of my drywall. Both men were very professional and polite and called each day before they showed up to give me a heads up of when they would be there. They did a great job of blending in the paint work so that the patches are not visible. By the end of the week Mr. Turner had the concrete guys out to do the ramp for my shed and the extension to my driveway. There were about half a dozen men on the team and they showed up in the morning and immediately began working. They had excavated out the dirt where the slab was going to go and used the removed dirt to level out some of the low spots and ruts in my driveway. The concrete crew worked throughout the day with only one break for lunch and when they were done they had made sure to remove all of their forms and had cleaned up after themselves. All of Mr. Turners guys were always professional and were there when they said they would be. I'm completely satisfied with all of the work done as well as how quickly it was done. I would both use and recommend Turner's Contracting Solutions in the future. <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Bluffton, SC

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
