"The service tech was great, but cost was way too high. $512 to replace two GFCI receptacles after a diagnosis of the electric panel and the circuits. Could have been much much higher if I had agreed to all the other “recommended add-on services and equipment” this company offered. Also requested a quote for installation of an EV charging unit. Nearly $5,800! Got a second quote from another company - $1,326. Guess which quote I accepted. But, as I said, the tech was great - friendly, very knowledgeable, thorough, respectful. But beware the high cost."

"John came in and hooked up the wires, added switches for the recessed lights in the kitchen. He even prewired for an island hood vent... another project of mine later down the road. He did the work quickly and cleaned up well. I would use them again for another electrical projects in the near future."

"Cost: $411.00 I had an electrical surge which cracked the ceramic of an old light fixture in my utility room. The surge also tripped an outdoor electrical outlet, and it couldn't be reset. Michael was very professional and quickly diagnosed the problems. After his price quote, I had him replace the light fixture and the outdoor outlet. Had another power surge the next day. "After contacting S & S Electric via email and requesting price quote for labor only on installing a transfer switch for a portable generator, Steven responded quickly with a price quote and some simple questions about the job. I made an appointment for the installation and Steve and his colleague, Dave, arrived on the appointed day and time on schedule. They assessed the work and came up with a plan of attack and got straight to work. It took them a total of 2 hours to install, wire and test the power going from my generator to the new switch and all the items I wanted to hook up for power. <br /> They even took a look and fixed a loose wire in a bathroom fixture for free. <br /> Steven was very good about explaining what I needed to do to use the switch, what issues to watch out for and maintenance tips for my generator. They were quick to respond, had great communication prior to the visit, were early and had one of the better prices for the project involved. Along with being one of the top rated on the Tesla website for electricians in the area. During the visit, Kenneth explained to me what was going on, even when I was quiet, he would ask me if I had any questions what he was doing. Even curious electrical questions I had like how do you know where to move around as to not get electrocuted or if you&#39;re drilling a hole, making sure you know not do hit a wire. He was great in answering any question I had. Both were super personable during my interactions with them. I was able to charge the Tesla immediately after they completed the work. They even cleaned up all the dust and debris from the installation. 5 out of 5 will definitely hire them again and use them for any electrical work I need to do around the house. I can&#39;t recommend them enough."
