The first issue was moisture continuing to come through a crack in the concrete floor two months after a leaking pipe underneath the concrete was repaired. He recommended leaving the carpet pulled back with a dehumidifier blowing on the damp area for about a week before reinstallling the carpet. The second issue was mold found behind and underneath a bookcase. He did not see any water intrusion and recommended I get the carpet cleaned and get more air circulating in the room.
