"Job was completed in one day. It was convenient. I woke up with no hot water. Called Hill's (it was on a Friday) around 10am and they had one of their plumbers call me right back so I could explain the problem. He gave me a time that he would be at my home. He called me when he was on the way. He arrived at the time he had said he would (3:30pm). He showed me the problem. Water heater was leaking. (It was 22 years old). It needed to be replaced. I didn't have time or a truck to go purchase one myself. He replaced it and we had hot water by 6pm."

"Got home from trip on the evening of Jan 3 to find out I had no water. Found Aaa on Angies list and gave them a call. They returned my call in short order and said someone would be out the next day. Alex showed up the next morning and I figured it would be at a premium being it was on a Sunday. Alex determined the pump was bad and gave me a more then fair estimate of what the cost would be. He replaced the schedule 40 pipe with schedule 80 and ran all new electrical and a new pressure switch. Alex worked on it in the rain was very professional and removed all the old pipe and wire. I would highly recommend Aaa to anyone needing well work. <br />"

"Jesse's Well and Pump Repair responded immediately to my request for help with a leak in my well water system. Jesse sent someone out the very next morning, Austin, who did an outstanding job. The pipe going down to my well was hanging on by a small thread and Austin managed to pull it out and save it from a much more disastrous situation of the pipe falling down into the well. He repaired the leak and replaced parts that were broken, taking the time to explain things to me and answer all my questions. He did an expert job and was very professional. I was extremely pleased with the service and have already recommended Jesse's company to my friends who also have well water systems. I will use this company again if I ever have any more problems."

"Carolina Well Drilling was excellent.  Responsive and helpful.  Lynn and Donna were great to work with.  While well drilling services are more expensive than I realized, Carolina Well's prices are very reasonable in comparison to other local companies and they did a great job.  <br />"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Camden, SC

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
