"Working with Allied was extremely easy from beginning to end. Our kitchen designer, Lewis Reif, was knowledgeable, professional and never said no we can't do that. The most amazing thing about the outcome was that we were not there for the 3 plus months while they were transforming our kitchen. Every week I received a progress report telling us what they had done and what was scheduled for the upcoming week along with lots of pictures. The end result exceeded our expectations...we have no complaints! Allied is a first class company."

"This is a family owned enterprise that takes pride in their business and results.  This was a small job for them (they specialize in building beautiful and functional outdoor kitchens, among other things, and I've seen their amazing brochure).   Keith, who is the younger son in the business (it's father and 2 sons), came to my home right on time and proceeded to efficiently block in the large wall openings left by removal of two air conditioners.  Since I  had installed central a/c many years ago, the work was long overdue and I was happy to find Brandel Masonry.  After cementing in the new block, Keith finished with stucco.  The work was efficiently completed and to the satisfaction of my own contractor, who is a fastidious and fussy guy about work product.  The final cost was exactly what I had been quoted in an estimate, and I found that price to be very fair and quite competitive (another masonry contractor quoted nearly the same price for each of the wall openings.  Price, however, is secondary to the finished product/outcome of the job, and I could not have been more pleased with Keith and with Brandel Masonry. <br />"

"I emailed Doug to see if they did repair work on existing outdoor grills. He said yes and we set up a mutually convenient time. He actually came out early on a Sunday morning to meet MY calendar! He determined that the grates and the lava rocks needed replacing, the self ignitor needed repair and the grill needed a good cleaning. He also advised that my grill was no longer being manufactured but that he could get a grate re-engineered to fit my grill. He did, called me to quote the price, which was reasonable, and he then ordered the parts. Within 3 days he had the parts and he came out today to do the repair. He did not take any payment or even a deposit until the work was completed. I have not tested it yet but based upon his professionalism, ehtics, and knowledge I am confidant that not only will it work fine, but should there be any issues he will immediately take corrective action. I am very pleased with their service and would recommend them. BTW, I had called two other companies--one of them took 3 days to call me back and the 3rd I still have not not heard from!"

"Rob, was fantastic. He was responsive, prompt and when he came it evaluate for a quote- made great recommendations based upon his experience and enhanced our original plans for a functional open office space in the kitchen. He built the cabinets in his shop, took the wood counter tops we had already purchased back to his shop- sanded/cut/ created and "L" shaped floating counter top in less than a week and installed everything in ONE DAY! Rob is very professional and took a lot of time during the install to make sure every detail was correct. I would recommend Wolfe Construction to anyone who wants experienced, professional and an honest trustworthy partner in your homes building plans.  <p></p> <p>We were less than enthusiastic with some of my early communications with other companies for this job and their lack of responsiveness and honesty, had just about given up with Angie's List. So glad we tried one last time and worked with Rob and his company Wolfe Construction. </p> <p><br /> </p> <p>Keep up the great work Rob, I know you will be hearing from our family on our next project.</p> <p>Respectfully,</p> <p>Maggie </p> <p><br /> </p>"

"It was fantastic. They did what they promise. They were professional. They did a good job. They were not the cheapest, but they were not expensive. They have the great plants, soil, and rock. I don't have any complaints with them. As soon as I called they answered my call. He would respond within 24 hours. He let me know if he will be late. He was a very good communicator. He would always ask me about what I thought. He would always ask for my inputs, expectations and ideas. The company was fantastic. I really liked working with them."

"The service went well. I had them build a picture wall with crown molding. They also mounted house numbers on the front of the house. He attempted to mount a sign on the pool deck but was not able to complete that. One technician came out for the job. He did not have 1 tool for the job but his supervisor was able to come out with the tool for him. He completed the job in about 5 hours. He was professional and gave some good suggestions for the sign he could not hang up. I was able to get the sign up myself from his suggestions."

"I had Venetian come out after seeing them on Angies List. I met with their sales rep, Marcel, who completed a great design for my new pool enclosure. Although these guys were a bit more expensive than the other people I had talked to, after seeing the materials and talking to them, i felt really comfortable that they would do a good job. <br /> After we filled out the contract and permit paperwork, the city took a while to issue my permit, during this time, I was kept informed every week or two by the staff at Venetian, which I thought was a really nice touch. <br /> Once the permit was approved, their concrete guy, Ciro, and his team came out to install the concrete slab. This was a much bigger project than I expected as they had to remove my old pool decking, then start fresh with a new slab due to the new building codes or something along those lines. The concrete did make a mess, but not more than what I would expect for all the work that had to be done. Throughout the process Ciro was at my house supervising and making sure things were going well. <br /> The concrete slab was poured, then they came back out to take measurements and get ready to build the enclosure. My builder was Pedro and boy am I glad it was. This guy and his team worked liked crazy from 8am to 5pm every day until the who enclosure was standing in only 5 days. It was really impressive to see them work and put up this huge piece of aluminum. Once it was all said and done, they called for final inspection, which was failed due to some electrical wire having to be connected between the enclosure and the pool equipment, but once that was done, it passed and the project was over. <br /> I have worked with many contractors in the past, and although Venetian took a little longer than I expected to get my project done, I am happy with the choice I made and could not be more thrilled with the finished product, my pool deck is now completely bug and leave free!! <br />"

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Homestead, FL

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
