"On Wednesday morning I woke up to water in my basement due to a leaky gauge. I called Agua Well and Pump and they told me they could try to get out that day but for sure the next day. The woman that answered the phone gave me her cell phone number so I could forward a video of the problem. About 4 hours later, I received a call that they would be at my house in 5 - 10 minutes. I left work and by the time I got home, they were there. The service technician, Chad explained everything to me and gave me his recommendation to replace the pressure tank due to the gauge leaking and the age of my tank. I went back to work and the job was completed by the time I got done for the day. Excellent communication and customer service!"

"Accurate Basement Repair was recommended to me by a friend of the family. I trusted his judgement because he is very particular. His basement was repaired years ago but he reiterated to me how impressed he was with the job. The owner, Chris met with me and was very thorough in explaining to me what the issues were and the process that would take place. I had previously brought in a structural engineer so I felt confident that what Chris told me was straight to the point. He was only going to repair what needed to be done and nothing more. I knew what to expect and the project proceeded without any issues. The crew arrived on time all 3 days and kept on schedule. 26 structural beams were installed, drain tile (217 feet) removed and replaced, a new sump pump and an additional pump installed on the other side of the basement. The crew kept me informed and cleaned up when they were done. I've been through this before with another company at another house and this time it was not as invasive. I would highly recommend Accurate."

"<p>Started with a sewage backup in the house. With a large family we were desperate and started calling multiple local plumbing companies in our area figuring we would get faster service locally. Messages were left on answering machines and after many hours not one return call. Starting to panic when my wife remembered that we had used Roto-Rooter once before quite some time ago and were pleased with the results. The call was made and someone actually answered. A promise was made that a service technician would be onsite within the hour. Fifty minutes later the doorbell rang and there stood Mr. Roto-Rooter. Mr. Roto-Rooters name was actually Dennis and he could not have been more professional. Everything he was going to do was explained in detail beforehand and the work of finding the blockage began. The blockage was eventually located near the main sewer connection at the front of the house and Denny was able to punch a hole through the muck which allowed the backlog of sewerage to recede. After the lines were drained Denny explained that he wanted to open the main sewer cleanout to make sure everything was clear. Here is where the fun really started. The cap was taken off and the real problem was immediately apparent. The connection to the municipal line just on  the outside of the house had failed and caved in causing the blockage. The drain auger had punched a hole through the clay allowing the system to drain but Denny explained that as soon as the auger was pulled back out the system would be clogged again. The only answer to the problem was to have a crew dig down on the outside of the house and replace the failed connection. By now it is around 5 PM and I started to panic again thinking that there was no way a crew would be available at this hour. Denny's supervisor Greg arrived on scene, reviewed what had been done and made sure I understood everything. Greg was just as friendly and professional as Denny. I agreed to the contract price and Greg made a call to see if he could get a crew together at this late hour. Within two hours Matt arrived with the heavy equipment and work was started. After 10 PM the digging was finished and a temporary repair made allowing us to use the facilities during the night. As promised, Matt returned early the next morning to make the permanent repair, fill in the huge hole and clean up the work area..</p> <p>Every one of the employees that I met were friendly, professional and took the time to make sure I understood everything that was happening. The areas inside the house that had been worked around were cleaned and wiped down with a disinfectant. </p> <p>Bottom line is while I am not very happy about the unanticipated expense I could not be more delighted with the entire Roto-Rooter experience. </p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"Gerardo showed up within one hour after I submitted my online request at Homeadvisor. He worked professionally through inspection on the sump pump, check valve &amp; drain line, explained the diagnosis and quoted the estimate clearly, and then completed the fix as expected. I would recommend the service to any one."

"The overall install went well except for a small flaw. The small hole drilled in the PVC pipe splashes wtr out of the sump when pmp is activated. I now have to try to cover a portion of the sump to eliminate the issue."

"One Hour Heating &amp; Conditioning was prompt arriving at the scheduled appointment time. My wife and I also appreciated receiving a message that the techs were on their way. Our techs Kyle and Jacob were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Arguably one of the most thorough annual checkups I have had since being in the home for 7 years and using some other services in the past. While both furnaces are well beyond their expected life, neither tried to &#34;oversell&#34; me and offered objective pros/cons to some repair options vs. replacement. I would highly recommend One Hour Heating &amp; Conditioning."

"The experience was really informative.  The technician was friendly, professional, and very thorough, and he told us straight out the price for a thermostat versus replacement and made us very reasonable offers for both services.  We're going to call Water Doctors for a brand new water heater within the next couple of months. <br />"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Kenosha, WI

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
