"My husband and I came across 7th State Builders online. Eddie came out to our home for our initial consultation. He was punctual and professional. He listened to our vision and took the time to draw out a plan and explain the process. He was very knowledgeable and made some great suggestions. We decided to do a big project at our home. For the back: a rebuild and waterproofing of our previous deck and a large patio to go underneath it with a fire pit and sitting wall. The front of our house needed some repairs so we had them redo our sidewalk in the same patio pavers from the back. The whole area in front of our garage was cut out and they put in new concrete and leveled it out. They rerouted our gutters to prevent flooding as the previous design was doing damage to our foundation. The owner, Chase, was very hands on and kept us updated the whole time. He frequently made sure we were happy with the way things were going. The whole team made this project an enjoyable experience. On every area of this project they went above and beyond. The transition of starting another area after the completion of another was seamless. "It was about two weeks of work, and the result looked better than when it was first installed. All was very professionally done. Only one issue was not resolved, and I do not hold them at fault. The concrete floor of the carport was heavily stained from oily substance that seems to embed itself into the concrete. They did everything that could possibly be done, and the next step would have been to remove the surface of the concrete and replace it. I told them they had done enough, and to stop. Most of the cost was covered by insurance, but with a substantial deductible."
