"Mark S. was very responsive. He reviewed our situation and provided an estimate via email rather quickly. The chimney wall tiles were gradually falling and causing drafting issues. We immediately felt comfortable in hiring Mark and scheduled the work after the holiday. Mark, Ben and Dan arrived promptly and were courteous. They protected the basement storage area from any dust or debris by putting up plastic sheeting and laying down tarp. When they were finished, the area was spotless. The cement patch work on the wall opening was done nicely too. The replacement connections to oil water heater and two oil furnaces looks great as well. It all went well and we were pleased to have hired Chimney Savers and Mark Schaub and his crew. His estimate was fair."

"If you don't want to read the whole review (it's on the long side), here's the summary: Pete’s Chimney and More is a business that will exceed all of your expectations with work that is first rate and an owner who goes out of his way to make the experience so user friendly that for once you won’t dread the process of needing to have work done on your house. And now for the details… We needed to have the chimney on our house repaired. I called Pete’s Chimney, as I had water leaking into the attic from a crumbling chimney. Even though the answering machine said that they were on vacation, within minutes I received a return call from Pete and had set up an appointment for the day after New Years. When I picked up my mail on 12/31, however, the estimate was already in my mailbox with a clear itemization of the work that needed to be done. The estimate was more than fair, and given his willingness to come out on a holiday, I knew immediately we were moving ahead. Pete runs his business as if he is taking care of his family, as you feel as if your problem is his problem. He was able to make an appointment for the end of the week, keeping in touch with me to let me know when he was coming, what to expect, etc. The work is actually for my mother’s house, and as she is elderly and disabled, he went out of his way to make sure she would be comfortable with all of the plans. Ultimately, he was able to move the work up a day taking advantage of the nice weather, calling me to make sure that this would work for my mother. When his team arrived, they immediately got down to work not even stopping to come inside to warm up, and it was a very brisk day! (They even passed on pizza in order to keep working!) The work done was top-rate, with the chimney angles crisp and clean. The work area was tidy the entire time and was left immaculate looking better than when they had started. (I’m not making this up; they had a leaf blower to make sure nothing was left amiss!) When the team left, I had a question for Pete and within minutes of texting him, he replied. I called him, and he went through his answer in detail explaining how the chimney had been reconstructed. While his answer far exceeded my question, I so appreciated his willingness to spend the time making sure I was completely satisfied with all parts of the job. In the end, the job was even more thorough than I had expected, and I now look forward to my new chimney’s long life! So often, and rightfully so, people write reviews when things don’t go well. I’m not sure that we spend as much time writing reviews when things go well. In this case, I could not be happier or more pleased with my interactions from start to finish with Pete’s Chimney and More. Pete’s integrity as a business owner and the expertise of his team stand out making me thrilled to see that he offers many other services that we will be able to use in the future. "Friday night: installed liner in one chimney. Saturday: clear broken part of second chimney and placed new block on chimney from roof up. Sunday: placed liner in second chimney and coated both chimneys with Thermoseal. Connected both furnaces and both water heaters to the chimneys."

"Duane's people replaced the roof and all rotten wood, then then put siding and capping on the shed to match the house which they had done earlier. They put capping at the window to stop any future leakage. Everything went great and it looks like a totally new shed. for less than it would of cost me to tear it down and buy a new one."
