"Everything was done well and done quickly! Very reasonable as well since Joe found a way to wire the doorbell without tearing up half the basement (which has plastered ceilings - no drop). Really happy to finally have our video doorbell installed without paying an arm and a leg. Unlike some other contractors Joe did not try to sell me on a hardwired chime I don't need because these video doorbells can ring your Alexa or Google home. Everything completed between 9 and 1 on the same day. Very efficient."

They installed 3 new ballasts in various rooms, repaired two light switches, removed an old alarm system, and added a new outlet for my microwave. "I bought my unit from NETR in 2018. It worked fine until we discovered it wasn't blowing any cold air. I made the big mistake of hiring someone a family friend recommended and they diagnosed it incorrectly and then basically disappeared on me. Anyway, it took a few weeks but they repaired it today and I was impressed with their courtesy and getting the job done very quickly and successfully. I felt like I was being dealt with honestly. "Terrific. Excellent communication, responded quickly to post installation tweeks. 128 Plumbing and Heating provided one of 3 estimates. They were tied at the upper end. However, they worked closely with us to look at our system options, explaining everything. I'd asked why they recommended a smaller furnace than the others had recommended which were the same capacity of the existing unit. The representative went over the process to arrive at his conclusion. For the cost change we were able to add some features we liked that now fit into our budget. The AC unit they speced out was more efficient than what we had where the other estimates recommended a less costly and less efficient unit for about the same cost. I will note one if the vendors sat in his truck and scribbled out his estimate in broad terms with little detail. I had expected more from the size of the company he represented. 128 arrived earlier than their 3 week scheduled installation date. They completed the work in 2 days, corrected some items not on the agreement, but were necessary or an improvement As with any job there were a couple of small hiccups. But they were very responsive and when finishing the last bit put tarps down on the floor as to not track dirt into our living area. They left the basement area cleaner than they found it. Did I mention as a former general contractor I was a difficult customer?"

"The personable owner, Tony Del Papa, came out to give us <br /> an estimate for installing exhaust fans in our bathroom. Since we <br /> hadn't bought the fans yet, it was helpful that he told us what to <br /> look for and suggested a particular brand. We then ordered fans <br /> through Lowe's. <br /> The company was prompt with returning calls and providing a written <br /> estimate in the mail. <br /> Once we had an appointment with the company that was going to vent the <br /> fans, we scheduled Village Electric to come out several days before <br /> that day.The two workers who came out were courteous and arrived within the <br /> hour time window we expected them. We tested out the fans and they <br /> worked fine, but we waited until they were vented to the outside to <br /> actually use them. <br /> The quality of the electrical work performed was good, but we had a <br /> couple of minor issues, which is the reason that we gave a B for <br /> professionalism. To install the fans, the workers had to go into the attic. <br /> They had to move some insulation from the attic floor <br /> and did not roll it back into place when they were done, and the <br /> insulation batting covering the attic hatch mysteriously disappeared. <br />   <br /> Also, a piece of ceiling that needed to be cut out was left in the <br /> attic instead of being discarded. Replacement of the junction box for <br /> the master bathroom light/fan switches caused a ceramic towel bar to <br /> partly detach from the wall. <br /> We have used Village Electric several times before, and this is the <br /> only time anything like this has happened. We informed <br /> them about it and don't expect to have any future problems, so we will <br /> use them again. <br />"
