"Pete Lewiston is probably the best contractor we have ever used for work on our home. We have been doing business with him for ten years. He has painted our exterior twice and has also painted several interior areas. He is a complete professional...fair pricing, honest, excellent work product, and punctual. He and his crew always do an excellent job of cleaning up as well. I would recommend Lewiston and Sons to anyone without reservation."

"D & G Roofing was very timely and professional in investigating the sources of my roof problems and in explaining in detail what needed to be done to correct some underlying issues with my roof. They performed the needed repairs quickly, their crews cleaned up the site daily, and the result was very satisfactory. I would recommend D & G Roofing to anyone needing roofing repair or replacement."

"Work started in February and completed in Mar. Hold up was strictly due to all the rain we had, but they took advantage of any openings to continue to completion. The teams that worked on our house were great and Bruce and his team took all the time we needed to answer questions and responded quickly. After installation noticed a window stress fracture and it was repaired by (Pella) quickly. In June had a couple of adjustments that needed to be made to flashing and it was handled without a fuss. I would recommend Scott Exteriors to anyone thinking of have work like this done. I have no complaints and will definitely use them for future projects."

"Extremely Well! Mr. Seals has assembled a great team that focuses on getting repairs done right the 1st time. He maximizes the time in your home be being well prepared to get things done when he arrives, and he even does small details like vacuuming after a repair. All 5 of my home repairs are done correctly, and I will use him again, and refer him to others who need a handyman."

"After interviewing several roofers to re-roof our home due to the hail storm - We chose Webb Roofing and General Construction. In part because they are more than a roofing company - they have painters, skylight and gutter people, "meaning we didn't have to look for or talk to any other workers." Webb's representatives Eddie Walker and Steve Atkins made suggestions to us that best suited our needs. Steve was often on sight supervising the proper installation of each project. With Steve's close attentions to detail - We, as senior citizens, felt everything ran smoothly for us, "in every aspect."

They adhered to all Amarillo's building permits and city codes. We now have a quality roof - Everything was addressed to our satisfaction. Also - the men who did the roofing were very courteous and respectful.

It's easy to understand why the BBB give Webb Roofing an A+ rating. Job well done! They even called this morning to verify that we did not have any leaks."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Mineral Wells, TX

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
