"I needed to get some Concrete raising. In addition, I needed to have some footings put in place, and they did both jobs done, perfectly and very professionally and within the timeframe, they promise me.. This is my third time using them and I’ve always done a great job."

" We had a challenging project with water removal and structural support issues. Our crew of Tim (Foreman), Marq, Jayshawn, and Devon worked diligently to install a new drainage system and support beam for the house, spending late nights to get the job done. Thanks to (Manager) Cornell for his assistance on this complex project. Matt E "

"It took a couple months to schedule the work but at each piece (estimate, electrical, excavation and installation) they called ahead, arrived on time, did all the work required with professionalism and courtesy. They even volunteered to clear the snow from my driveway by shovel when my machine wouldn't start. The use of plastic sheets and a high efficiency vacuum system connected to the jackhammer kept the dust down."

"I was having repairs done to my garage. (not by Burke Concrete) <br /> I contacted Burke Concrete & told them I needed my walkway adjacent to the repair area removed before work could begin. <br /> Burke Concrete promptly gave me a quote for removing the old & adding new concrete when repairs were completed. <br /> After accepting their quote, they were out to remove the old concrete w/in 2-weeks. <br /> After my garage repairs were completed (not by Burke Concrete), I again contacted Burke to schedule my new concrete work. <br /> They returned w/in 1-month to complete the job. (busy schedule) <br /> I had my previous walkway replaced & they extended it from my garage, around my deck, & to the alley behind my house. <br /> I couldn't be happier with Burke Concrete. They were extremely flexible (schedule), very professional, & the quality of work was what I was expecting. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"The guys came when they said they would, did what they said they would do and charged me what the said they would charge me. It may sound stupid to state my review this way, but this type of service, unfortunately, isn't very common. The men who came to the house were very professional and I am very pleased with the result."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Mishawaka, IN

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
