I was reluctant at first to contact Critter Control of New Jersey because I live in Madison WI. However, I found a regional franchise here. Cody was not only responsive, professional and informative, but he worked in cold weather and solved the problem as far as I can tell at this time. He suggested preventive measures that I purchased. Since I was unable to compare completed cost quotes, I'm not sure I can rate the price as excellent, but it was in line with what other companies' speculations of what work might be needed. My only problem has been getting the promised warranty document from the franchise owner in Michigan."

"I reached the specialist, Michael Niemeyer, on my first call, and we set an appointment for the next day. <br /> He called just before he arrived, at the time agreed. He climed into the attic at the two access points (big house), and searched for animal sign, finding, as I had observed previously, that our insulation had been beaten down by something, which was the source of noises in the attic. No live animals were found, but urine from grey squirrels was present. <br /> Mr. Niemeyer found two possible entry points which were otherwise hidden, one at the kitchen vent on the roof, the other behind a rain gutter. He sealed the entry points as I watched, and he did a very professional looking job--you can't see the work behind the gutter, and the wire around the roof vent looks like it belongs there. <br /> Next, he installed a one-way excluder trap to catch any grey or flying squirrels that might wish to leave the attic. And, finally, he set two baited traps, just in case there was something else in the attic that might not wish to leave. <br /> He came back the next day to check the traps, and then came back again on Saturday morning to remove the traps and excluder. <br /> The noises are gone, and there are angry grey squirrels staring at us from the back yard--they have to look for another place to sleep! <br /> Mr. Niemeyer was professional, considerate, and careful. <br />"

They call to schedule a convenient time to spray every 3 months. They come when they say they are coming. It doesn't take long for them to complete the job. "Tom and his son arrived a little early and went right to work. He explained what he was going to do and assured my wife that her white couches were not in danger of soot coverage. He proceeded to check the flu and clean the chimney pipe and then completely clean the fire box.  He discovered a loose piece of soapstone across the front of the stove which he repaired (at no charge).....The entire job lasted about an hour and when they left you couldn't tell they had been there. Also checked small gas fireplace in kitchen and showed me how to operate. <br /> Very personable and professional, would definately use again. <br />"
