"The Houston Village Appliance guys (Frank Tovar) were the only positive part of the experience. 1) Originally purchased from Lowes 2) Lowes did not show at requested time for delivery 3) After rescheduling Lowes inexplicably cancelled the order 4) Ordered from Home Depot 5) Upon delivery by Home Depot, was informed they could not install because original oven was hardwired and thus needed a new electrical outlet 6) Electrician came by twice to try and install new outlet but could not due to placement of gas line he did not want to mess with 7) called Houston Village Appliance and they removed old oven, installed new outlet and installed new oven, and even found from a local supplier a part Home Depot did not include in the original purchase (HD said they could get it for me in 5-7 days). I paid Houston Village Appliance for that part after becoming thoroughly disgusted with performance by Lowes and Home Depot. Houston Village appliance also hauled off old oven"

I called the day they were to come and let them know the one in the attic needed replaced as well. They got here well within the time they scheduled with us and even called ahead so I could run errands nearby. They identified themselves at the door, which I really appreciated. Both the attic and garage water heaters were replaced. They removed the one from the attic without incident, keeping the house clean. That was the one I worried would make a mess but they were careful and got it out without anything happening. They employees were smart, polite and explained everything they were doing. My spouse wasn't home and my knowledge of plumbing is none so I probably asked more questions than norm. They never seemed irritated and explained everything in verbiage I understood. We have used them several other times for multiple issues since buying our home. They are always on time, priced fairly and take care of the problem. Each time before they leave, they make sure we have the company's number handy in case we have any problems or additional questions. I have recommended them to friends and colleagues.
