Customers say: Super punctual

"I had a leaky bathtub faucet because the hot water stem was shot. One area plumber took one look at it, said he had no idea, took pictures of it and said somebody would contact us. Still waiting on that call. Tried a second Westerville plumber. Kind of the same deal. Said they don’t make those things any more, parts are rare and suggested for $750 that we replace the whole deal with an all in one hot and cold shower knob. Called Jack Woods. They were busy and could not come for 8 days which wasn’t ideal. Long story short, my man Dave knew exactly the brand and type of part it needed, drove down the street to Roush Hardware to pick one up (yeah it was so rare lol) and inside an hour had it fixed, saving me more than $500 in the process. I’m done with the others. I found my plumber from here on out. Thanks Jack Woods Plumbing. You thoroughly embarrassed the other Westerville “plumbers.”"

"The plumber came out and replaced the valves in a neat and speedy manner. He inspected his work and found that one valve had a slight leak so he fixed it without adding time to the invoice. He even gave me a tip on how to drain my hot water heater while we waited for the pipes to drain."

"It was Great! The technician throughly explained what was wrong and what needed repaired/replaced, after that I was given an estimate and the technician gave me ample time to make my decision. I ok’d the work and he began. Took about 1 1/2 hours and the tech cleaned up my bathroom after he was done. I’m so glad I called Apex Plumbing. They will be my go to Plumbers for all my plumbing needs. Highly recommend."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Newark, OH

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
