"Highly recommend Arms Home Improvement. Had a small kitchen fire - several cabinets were burned, drywall was damaged, and soot went everywhere. Mr. Metcalf was the only contractor willing to try and repair the cabinets versus buying all new kitchen cabinets. Not only were the damaged cabinets repaired, they look better than before. The attention to detail by Mr. Metcalf and Jeff was outstanding. In the process of repairing the kitchen they also encountered unforeseen electrical issues. Everything was fixed with care and the kitchen looks amazing. Mr. Metcalf and Jeff are excellent contractors, with an equally excellent work ethic. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. "I contacted Omar about a job to repair a section of drywall in a kitchen that was damaged by a bathroom leak, and then to paint the entire kitchen ceiling after the repair. After taking a look at some emailed photos of the area, Omar provided a fair estimate - less than the most expensive estimate I got, but more than an estimate from another handyman. Omar was very responsive in providing the estimate within 24 hours, and also was able to start the job within 1-2 days after agreeing on the estimate. On the day, one of Omar's crew members, Benevicio(?), showed up on time, confirmed what needed to be done, and then began covering all of the areas with tape and plastic protection from dust and painting, as well as covering the floors between the front door and the repair area with drop cloths. He did what was needed to repair the sheetrock, and then painted the entire kitchen ceiling with the paint that I provided. He was careful to avoid contact with the walls, since we discussed that I didn't have paint to repaint the walls, only the ceiling. As other reviewers have mentioned, B. took care to protect the areas from dust and paint - covering all the walls, sealing off the open kitchen with a plastic divider, covering the floors, and wearing shoe covers - which I certainly appreciated. And, he was conscientious about clean-up after the job, to try to leave the work site as he found it. The job he did with the drywall repair and painting was also top-notch. I've had a number of sheetrock repairs done in our home, and this was one of the more flawless repairs - it's almost impossible to see the joints between the drywall patch and the original drywall, which is difficult to make happen. I appreciate the attention to detail and skill, so I won't hesitate to call Omar agin."

"We chose APX after meeting with 11 other contractors. APX did a full basement demo and renovation for us. They created the perfect apartment for my mother, and she could not be happier. The APX crew were always professional and efficient. They preformed multiple trades and were willing to work weekends to bring the job in on time. Alex worked with us and came up with several great ideas to deal with a very challenging space ( pocket doors-recessed lighting-etc.). APX did not put in the lowest estimate but were one of the lower estimates. Overall, I am very glad I chose APX. They did a great job and it was a pleasure dealing with them. I waited a few weeks before I wrote this review to make sure there were no issues with the work. I am happy to say everything is still great. I would highly recommend APX Home Improvement."

"Diaz and his crew recently completed a job for our home. It started off with a basement renovation. They installed several sections of missing drywall and reinstalled a set of windows (that were installed incorrectly by a previous contractor). Then they painted our basement, installed new recessed ceiling lighting, placed new moldings and installed flooring with vinyl plank After the basement was completed they completely redid our kitchen and main living area They installed new cabinets and countertops. They redid all of our upstairs lighting. They removed old nonfunctional heaters and redid the floor moldings. They installed a new tile backsplash for our kitchen. Finally they painted and installed new flooring. I can’t say enough great things about this contractor. I found that he and his work crew are extremely proficient and did excellent work. They had incredible attention to detail. The painting, flooring, lighting, and every single thing was absolutely completed to perfection. The team cleaned up thoroughly every single day, and took great pains to minimize the impact of their work on the rest of the house (by placing tarps, drapes, and plastic doorway partitions). I was very happy that a single contractor was able to do all these various different things and still do them so well. Diaz did have specific companies that he worked with to make the cabinets and countertop but we were very happy with the options that he provided. He even helped us set up a visit in person to look at countertops before we made a final decision. Diaz was honest and upfront, and was extremely reliable. He made multiple suggestions throughout the process to improve the renovation and the function of our home, and I really trusted his input. Diaz is highly skilled as a designer as well as a contractor. Diaz stuck to his estimate. As expected with a project like this, extra things did come up along the way that lead to additional cost. But Diaz was upfront with those additional costs, and they all seemed extremely reasonable. If there was any negative it was that Diaz and his crew were always extremely busy. As a result, communication sometimes took a while, and the renovations took a little time (since they were clearly juggling multiple projects at once). However, I do feel that overall Diaz his crew did the job in a timely manner Most importantly, we were extremely happy with the end result. We feel like we’re living in a new house and cannot recommend Diaz highly enough. If you’re looking for a crew that has great attention to detail, a high level of versatility across various contract jobs, and that is extremely trustworthy and reliable, then Diaz and your crew is the right choice. We will definitely use them again the next time something needs to be done at our home."

"Jose and his team at J.A.K.E Prestige Renovations did a fantastic job on repairing plumbing fixtures in my shower and kitchen. The shower repair required going through drywell which the team repaired and repainted making it look as good as new. I have also used Jose and team for two other projects, bathroom renovations and whole house carpet stretching, which they did a fantastic job. Jose is experienced, professional and courteous. Highly recommended."

"It was time to update the house with new paint and several other improvements. GO Contractors did a great job. The 3-man team was on time, professional, and courteous. They cleaned up before leaving each day. The project leader, Mr Gomez, was very helpful in making recommendations and selecting materials. I had the team: paint several rooms and hallways, replace the bi-fold doors in several areas, replace the banisters and railings on 3 levels, put in a screen door and install a vanity in the powder room. Mr Gomez noticed a leak in the powder room and took steps to repair the leak. He also recommended installing recessed lighting in the living and dining rooms which I planned to have done but am glad he suggested having the installation done while everything was already covered for the paint work. The team did a great job in installing the new doors also. 100% improvement. Couldn’t be happier! Everything looks nice and updated."
