"This is quite simple: if you need a water heater replaced in Marin or Sonoma counties, us Frank's Water Heater Company. Frank's is a guy named Trevor. It's just him and his helper. They focus on water heaters, toilets and sink disposals. There is no fancy trucks or 800 number, it's just a hard working guy answering the phone himself and providing a great a service. I received quotes from two of the larger companies in the area for a rental property I own in San Rafael, they both charged to come out and quote, Trevor didn't. Moore recommended the replacement system that would be more durable and require lower maintenance over time, and wrote a detailed proposal with a floor plan documentation. The team- five technicians!- were properly suited with protective gear and followed COVID protocols at all times on our property, inside and out. They wore shoe protectors while inside, kept us fully appraised at every task (all interior registers replaced in 11 rooms), and were extremely respectful of our space, privacy, pets, and kept noise and speaking to low levels. (our extremely friendly indoor cat got lots of attention from the team!) The work required three days to fully replace all ductwork in a two-story home with attic and crawl space, and Paul the team leader would check in with us each morning with a briefing of each days' activities. The entire team was constantly in learning mode, with the senior technicians mentoring and teaching the younger team members, which greatly impressed me. They finished on time and without any delay or disruption; they cleaned each work area and removed all debris, packaging, and the old system. We've owned this house for 20 years, had many repairs and replacements, and Moore has raised the bar so far for quality and value. While they were the middle bid in terms of overall cost, we believe we received higher value that even the highest bid.
