"We hired Patrick's Masonry and Concrete to remove our old driveway and install a new driveway. The entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The crew was professional, showed up on time and communicated clearly throughout the project. The owner was present each day giving us added confidence in the quality of the work. The project took 4 days and also included masonry work on a brick pathway which turned out beautifully. I'm very careful about work done on our house since it's on the National Registry for Historic Homes and they exceeded expectations. The finished driveway looks fantastic-smooth, properly graded and built to last. You can really see the quality in their workmanship. The pricing was fair and clearly explained and the finished work was absolutely worth every dollar. It's not always easy to find contractors that follow through like this. "Requested an estimate on line and was promptly called to set up an appointment. Augustin was on time and provided a very reasonable bid. Augustin was very personable and very thorough in his review of our needs. Other local landscapers either were too busy to give us a quote (Set up an appointment then didn't show) or provided a quote so high it was obvious they didn't want the job. "Todd was great. He came and gave me a bid on the work about a year prior to me having it done. That year we decided to budget for other repairs on the house but when I called 1 year later to get a follow up bid he said he remembered the house and the original bid would still work. We set a date and Todd came out right on time. He leveled up the front porch and walkway until the ground gave way and he couldn't level it any further that day. The concrete was easily within 99% of where it should be but Todd wanted it perfect (Which I greatly appreciated). Todd said he would come back after we had some dry weather and complete the job. It took awhile (Oregon doesn't have a lot of dry weather in the spring time), but Todd called a few times to let us know we were still on the books and that he hadn't forgot about us. Todd came back out this past week and finished leveling everything up - He even leveled up a part of our sidewalk that I hadn't even noticed was bad. Great work and a very personable guy. I would absolutely use them again. "

"When Todd first started breaking up the packed gravel driveway, he hit and pierced the main gas line. It was only 6 inches below the surface (should have been a couple feet). I wasn't home but Todd responded quickly, shut off the breaker box (to eliminate the possibility of explosion) and contacted the fire department. I then went to Angie's List and read all the reviews. Seismic Technologies stood out with the most and the best reviews.  I called and   made an appointment in less than a week .  The engineer's name was Jay Kushner.  Jay  was wonderful!  He took his fancy tools and his many years of experience and did a thorough inspection.  He listened patiently about our concerns of possible compromise of our garage floor. He  examined a crack in the floor and  explained that it  was due to a tree outside. He used a laser and measured the floor and said it was rising rather than falling.  He checked the foundation surrounding the garage and found no structural damage to the foundation. He advised us to do nothing and assured us that the floor would continue to be structurally sound.  He even sat around the kitchen table after and once again answered all of our questions and concerns.  We found him to be a very pleasant,  honest and trustworthy person. <br /> <br />  <br /> <br />Obviously, Seismic Technologies was more focused on the scientific evaluation than on trying to drum up foundation work. Jays' experience and credentials were excellent as was the quality of his work. We recommend Seismic Technologies.   The money we paid was well worth it.
