"We were extremely pleased with our experience with Plumb Perfect. Xavier responded immediately to our work request with Home Advisor-within 5 minutes of our submitting the request! We set up a time for the next day and his communication with us was also excellent. We found him vey personable and explained repair options to us very clearly to help us decide how to proceed-he even offered to pick up the parts for us. He returned with the pieces right on time and completed the work quickly. We were impressed at how conscientious he was, even wearing booties over his shoes so he wouldn?t track in snow from our front walk. "First time job was done very well and all painters were very professional.  We selected a color from a little sampler which you couldn't tell what color it really was and when the job was finished the room looked pink, which wasn't going to work.  My wife was very unhappy about the way the color turned out so the owner was asked to repaint it and we would pay him and purchase our own paint.  He wasn't very happy but agreed to for a set amount.  The second crew had only one of the original painters with them and they did a much worse job by not covering the floor and so we had to clean up paint drippings, they left wide paint brush strokes next to trim on the walls and one of the workers used the bathroom and left it in a mess.  When we confronted the owner with our findings he became belligerent and said we didn't know what we were talking about and then stormed out the door.  We tried to find out what he was going to do to correct the problem and he would never answer our phone calls.  Later we went to the BBB he said he would talk with us about the problem but by that time we had our fair share of the nonsense so we have never settled the issue and to this date we refuse to deal with the owner again."

"The service call was placed on 12/10; vendor callled same day but was unable to respond until 12/14. He was prompt and declared the faucet was unreparable.. I asked if he could not try to repair but he said he cold not do that because if it din'fix the problem he could not replace the faucet. He stated that the replacement would not be exact but similar. My faucet had separaate lever for turn on/off but he said the replacement would probably be part of the sprout. We did not really appreciate this but he offered no probable favorable solution.. Not happy with response time but realize a close to weekend call caused this. Did not appreciate not even attempting repair."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
