"When temperatures dropped to -50 with wind chill, the pipes to our basement bathroom sink froze. And as soon as everything began to thaw, (on Friday night) we found that we had a ruptured hot water pipe. Water was shooting out of the wall all over the bathroom. I asked if he was going to have an end to the day soon, but he said he still had hours to go...he had promised other worried homeowners that he would help them today. "Joe was amazing! He was friendly, professional, and completely prepared for all possibilities! Initially I had needed help with frozen valves in my bathroom, a sink and faucet installation, and a new garbage disposal installation. I had purchased a countertop with an integrated sink from a home improvement store. When we opened the undamaged box, we discovered that the counter was broken! I was really unhappy and I thought the project was derailed, but Joe was incredibly kind and went to the store with me to make sure that I was able to get it sorted out. He was very cool with teaching me about simple repairs and how to maintain my plumbing. He taught me a lot of things, and was exceedingly patient. He also has a really calm temperament which made the entire experience fun. I had a great time learning from Joe, the work is beautifully done, and my project list is complete! "It was a rainy weekend…We had rapid leaking from the pipes in our basement ceiling (discovered over the weekend). We had called or regular company and other plumbers/services and all “took a message” or flat out said they were not available. Sunday morning I decided to try one more time. Rob answered the phone himself and offered to come over later in the day. He called back to let me know the exact time of his arrival. I didn’t know the source of the water so we weren’t doing laundry or dishes. Rob arrived and quickly located the source of the water and repaired the problem. We were expecting to pay $$$ because it was a Sunday emergency call.
