"We had our entire new 3k+ square ft home’s interior, including trim painted and it turned out fantastic! Martha, Tony and crew were exceptional. Not only was the ease of doing business, the cost of the project, and professionalism all great but the quality and meticulousness was over the top. They did so good that we kept them on to do all of the cabinets in our home. They also removed some built-in furniture and repaired the trim etc as well as fixed some ceiling damage caused by our movers. It all looks brand new. Our home was built in 1913 & we knew that it needed a lot of work when we purchased it last February. We needed to completely gut the kitchen & bathroom and start from scratch. My wife and I started to gut the kitchen ourselves & then quickly realized that we were way in over our heads. My wife began to research contractors and decided to join Angie?s List as a way to weed out the bad ones. Bachert Builds got so many good reviews we decided to call them for an estimate. This task seemed very daunting & we are so glad we called a professional!

I was working in Charlotte for the summer & could only come home on Saturdays. Chester was able to accommodate & meet me when my schedule allowed. My wife & I were not living in the house while the remodel was going on but they kept our home very neat & tidy. Throughout the entire process Chester & his crew were very professional, courteous & detail oriented. We never felt pushed or bullied into anything we couldn?t afford or want. "Jeff was very responsive and contacted me pretty quickly after the purchase to schedule. It was easy to schedule a mutually convenient date. It was raining the day he was scheduled to come at 9:00 and he called at 7:30 to let me know we needed to reschedule. He came the very next day, exactly on time. Jeff was very professional and personable and before going on the roof asked if there were any areas of concern. I had two areas of old leaks (one in each bathroom) and showed those to him - the very reason I purchased this deal. I also knew that the flat roof on my front porch was long overdue for replacement. I could hear Jeff using a hammer a few times, When he was done he explained that the roof overall was in "A" condition (I had a new roof installed 16 years ago) and he had repaired a few nail pops/lifted shingles and fastened the flashing around the skylight and applied sealant. He also advised that the two areas with old leaks came from vent pipes that needed new flanges. As expected, he recommended a new rubber roof for my flat porch roof (it was not replaced when the house roof was done and is about 48 years old). He gave me what I think is a fair price to replace the pipe flanges and also quoted me a price for a new rubber roof for the porch that I think is fair. We scheduled the work for the pipe flanges but I deferred on the porch roof for now due to other pending remodeling. Overall, this was a very positive experience and I plan to use Jeff in the near future when I am ready to replace the porch roof."

"Wonderful. They protected the plantings around the house and cleaned up very well. They hand nailed and drew lines up the side to make certain the spacing was correct. Did not remove the roof over the garage so it stayed protected until the second day when the job could be completed.
