"After seeing the hillside behind my house Barry, one of the owners of the business, put down on paper his vision for the site. After explaining to his crew what he wanted, Barry and his crew made up of Nick, Edgar and Tony went about transforming the hillside. Using a mix of perennial plants and installing a dry stream bed, we have an interesting and colorful landscape to view year round. We liked his work so much that we hired him to build a platform landing or step at the back door to our house. Constructed of slab rock and brick pavers. the platform landing blended so well with an adjoining paver patio, you would never know that the two areas were installed years apart. We like his work so much that we have invited him back in April 2015 to continue the transformation of our property. We would recommend Barry and Utopia without hesitation to friends, family and folks we have yet to meet. Costs of the projects $15,300."

I called Local Dad repairs and spoke to Terri, she was very helpful setting up an appointment with Jeff, the owner. He showed up on time and we went over all the projects I needed to get done. He gave me a lot of information about my house and the work he could do for me. Within a week I had a firm estimate and we agreed on a start date. The work started on time and finished early. Jeff got a building permit and met with the inspector for me. Everything was done to my satisfaction, the crew cleaned up both areas very well. "We first worked with Greg on a $35,000 patio several years back. We've never been so happy with a home improvement project in the 20 years we've owned our home. Since then anything to do with landscaping or hardscaping we just call Greg. "My wife and I bought a new home and wanted to convert our wood burning fireplace to gas burning. I saw the recommendations from past customers on Angie's list and decided to go with the company. I first went to visit the Paramus showroom and met Frank (the Sales Manager). He was very professional and friendly, giving me options in purchasing the proper unit and glass door covering. Within three days, John (the owner who does all the work) came over and fitted the gas fireplace within 45 minutes, and took measurements for the glass door cover. We are using the fireplace already (first day was chilly and rainy). The glass door will be installed in 5 weeks (it was custom ordered). We highly recommend the company and we are very happy with the work and product!"

"Dave and his partner (can;t remember his name) were awesome.  Dave drove about 25 miles to my house for a consultation.  He charged me $150 bucks for that but applied it to my order when I committed to the work.  Dave was extremely helpful in looking at all of the possible stoves that would fit my application and ended up recommending one that worked perfectly and was a bit cheaper then the one i had initially wanted.  No upsell here.  He just wanted it to be right and for us to be happy. <br /> The wood I had delivered a couple of weeks before was a little green, so he brought about 10 pieces with him so we could properly fire the stove a few times to cure it. <br /> They were done in a day and cleaned up well. <br /> I have been using the stove all winter and am very happy with it.  I will be calling them again for cleaning and services the stove. <br /> Thanks Dave! <br />"
