"Replace, installed, and hauled away an ~12 year old water heater. I was quoted a good price, that beat its competitors and the warranty was a full, non-prorated 6 years for parts AND labor. Any problems, they'll fix or swap it out. This was on Wednesday. They had a slot open for around noon on Thrusday. Steven and his co-worker (forgot his name) showed up and were professional, knowledgeable, respectful, thoughtful, and ready to go. They Drained the tank. Then took the old fittings and piping off and put on a more standard solution which should make subsequent water heater installations years from now easier. Installed the new 40 gallon water heater. Replaced the emergency valve pipe and even vacuumed the water that had been leaking from the old water heater. About two hours after they arrived, it was all done. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and the price was as quoted. (which was a very good price). Don't go through Home Depot or Lowes as they just contract with an outside company meaning you are paying for the profits of TWO companies. Plus then they can point fingers as to who was at fault if anything goes wrong... with you screwed in the middle. The big box retailers wanted to send out one of the most expensive companies out there. You know, the one who claims there will be no Melvin's. Big Box retailers are forced to go with more expensive installers since they seek a one size fits all approach and can't be bothered with finding good, honest, hard working smaller companies. All in all, I got a better water heater (rheem professional vs rheem performance), better overall warranty (labor included!), and better service then what the big box retailers would of done. Literally the price of just the install would have been more expensive then the water heater+install+new fittings+warranty and all Steven from Simply Better Plumbing and Drain did. The bill for EVERYTHING was significantly under four digits. Quite the bargain. I would highly recommend Simply Better Plumbing and Drain for your water heater (and likely other plumbing) needs."

"This is the third time I've used Reddi Services and had specialist Pepe Munoz make plumbing repairs! Each time he has been punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and effective. He has installed a garbage disposal, replaced a kitchen faucet, and replaced the seals and rebuilt a wall-mounted toilet! In all cases, his work has been excellent! I definitely recommend this company based on my experiences."

"I called several plumbing companies and all were way over priced. This company came and inspected my leak and quoted me a price that was a third or more cheaper than the other companies. They fixed my leak under my sink and didn't break my bank. Excellent service and I'm one picky person. Thank you Mr. Horton. You were absolutely amazing and professional. No BS, told me what I needed done and explained it in detail so not to confuse me. While the other companies tried adding more things as I explained to Mr. Horton. He told me right from the start, those things don't need to be done, just the elbow and a small portion of pipe needs to be replaced. Up front and honest."

"I told my wife I expected to pay X amount of dollars for the repairs that we needed. When the representative from easy flow came to our home, he gave us an estimate that was $45 less than what I told my wife it would cost to repair the water problem we had. I would like to thank the entire team of easy flow from Christy Amy, Logan Manny and Spencer too you guys are great."

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Tempe, AZ

When installing a sewer line, you should consider extra costs like tree removal, driveway repairs, or patio resurfacing. Hiring a professional plumber is essential, and you may need additional specialists if landscaping or heavy excavation is involved. Addressing these potential extras up front helps ensure accurate budgeting and prevents sudden cost overruns.

To calculate the length of sewer piping you need, measure the distance from your house to the main sewer line, adding the depth of the city main to this distance. Be sure to account for any obstacles like tree roots or utility lines that may require additional piping.

City sewer lines are installed at a lower elevation to prevent unwanted backflow and water damage. This lower positioning ensures enhanced performance and long-term safety, meeting all technical and safety standards.

With trenchless methods, a plumber inserts a smaller pipe within the existing plumbing, avoiding full excavation. It can be more cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional methods, but it's not suitable for all homes.

Yes, you must secure permission from your local water authority before connecting to a public sewer line. This approval ensures your connection meets all regulatory requirements.

Sewer lines are buried between 18 inches and 8 feet deep, with most systems placed between 18 and 30 inches. In colder regions, pipes are set deeper to remain below the frost line.
