"Water Heater Masters were top-notch! I called on a Saturday afternoon - they were available 9am Sunday morning to come and inspect and quote. They only had one guy working that day, but scheduled me for Monday morning between 8 and 9. At 8:15am I got a call with an ETA of 8:45, which was a really nice touch! Despite telling me it would take an entire day to install, they were done by 1pm. They also found some creative ways to do the install to avoid drilling through my stucco (for the exhaust vent and for the condensate run-off). Very professional and clean-looking install. These guys may not always be the cheapest around, and they recommended a top-of-the-line heater (which is what I really wanted anyway), but I'd much rather pay a little extra for that level of service and support. I agreed. They came out the next day with the part. It was defective!!! Couldn’t find the part anywhere. Would need to wait two more days. Plan B. I called around and found Beaver Construction Co. to install a new one. Bid was excellent!!! Far below other bids. They installed a new Rheem Heater within 2 hours. "The plumber's name was Miguel. He was on time and made some good suggestions. The job entailed moving a outdoor metal pipe back about 2 feet and reconnecting to a pvc sprinkler line. In addition he installed a shut off valve and faucet."

Less than a week later No hot water for over 30 hours till the second technician replaced the thermocouple. All is perfect now. No charge for the second visit. The next step, if needed will be a tankless and their quote looks a bit steep. But I am really hoping I won’t need to go that far."
