"Turner Concrete did an excellent job overall. They took great care in protecting my existing concrete driveway as well as my deck and three season room floor adjacent to the new patio.  They placed plywood over my lawn for the path of the skidsteer that was used to haul the gravel and concrete from the road to the new patio site in our backyard.  This prevented any significant damage to my lawn.  The site was cleaned every night before they left.  They placed rebar at all of the key areas  prevent future cracks and tied all of the concrete into any adjacent concrete placed previously.  I was kept informed on their schedule and any impacts that were caused by the weather.  The work was completed within the timeframe provided when the estimate was given. <br />"

"I believe that everything went well.  The owner was on-site performing the work alongside of his crew.  He obtained the required building permit, scheduled the building inspection and performed the stated work.  The work passed inspection and I am very happy that I have completed that project.  I would recommend this contractor for your needs.  He was timely, professional and responsive to my needs or questions. <br />"

"They came promptly and worked diligently for 2 hours to level our driveway, front walkway and patio. They spent extra time leveling the patio to make sure I no longer have to worry about ice forming on it during the winter and draining toward the house in spring or when it rains hard. Very good job and all surfaces to be guaranteed for 3 years. I would highly recommend them to anyone."

"We have been debating for years on having our driveway and front walk mudjacked. We have been nothing but impressed from the first phone call to the final product. The entire company is professional, has great communication with their customers, and provides an impressive finished product. Thank you for such a wonderful experience."

"Horrid. Never called back when I called. took a month to finish a "3 -4 day job". Had no idea how to pull a building permit. unreliable (never came when he said he would) "Over-slept" a meeting with the city building inspector ( that we showed up to) Had various vehicle problems. Should have run a check on him before hiring (a co worker of my wife recommended him, and it took pressure from her to make him finish the job)."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Waukesha, WI

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
