"The folks at Simmons and Crowe Pest Control were great. First of all, they returned my call. That may sound like a small thing...but we are currently in the "busy season" for animal invasions. And most of the companies I contacted through Angie's List did not respond. So points for that.
We made an appointment for an inspection. Micah Simmons showed up on time, confirmed that we had a squirrel problem and took immediate measures. He gave us a cost estimate, and then cleaned out the nest. He sealed off all entry points but one. That one entry point was left open, but also contained a trap.
We never did catch a squirrel...which is fine by us. 
After a two week waiting period, Simmons and Crowe returned to seal up the last hole.
It's great having peace of mind and knowing that the house is squirrel-free!

"Grant came out soon after my call to give me an estimate and got started on the job right away. He was always very prompt in returning my calls and checking the squirrels traps that he put on my roof. He trapped and transported the squirrel humanely and according to ODFW regulations. Once the squirrel was trapped, he immediately sealed up the openings in the eaves of the house. I haven't heard or seen any squirrels up there since. I won't know how well this works to keep the birds out until spring.
