More importantly, Chris advised against certain additional work that other contractors had recommended, even though these additions would result in a higher cost for the project, as he knew the finished result would not meet our expectations. "Timber and Meghan were great to work with. The price for the work was extremely reasonable and Timber was very flexible and creative with solutions. The original plan was to power wash and treat the existing fence and pergola. Timber suggested going over the old fence with a new fence and building a new pergola.The overall cost for these changes was pretty much the materials. We provided Timber with a photo of a pergola that we found on line and he recreated it flawlessly. I cannot praise Timber highly enough. We are thrilled with the new deck. One of our friends is a retired home builder who is never impressed. He had nothing but praise for the quality and craftsmanship of the work. We already have plans to engage Timber for additional projects. PS We had to order a new dishwasher while Timber was here. He installed it for us and took the old one away."

"Plow and Property has completed several projects for us on a very old and neglected rental property and we are so glad we found them. The first job was a vacant house clean out. The house was left in truly appalling condition. The cleaning crew worked and worked and worked so hard and so long I was telling them to stop. They made a filthy house fresh and pleasant again. I would not have thought it could be restored to such a fresh condition. The next job was replacing the old casement windows which were rotted wood frames in crumbly 1950â s cement. They not only repaired the window foundation area but other foundation ugly spots as well and put in beautiful new sturdy basement sliding windows. They also re-dug and replaced the adjoining window wells which were undoubtedly the original wells and were falling apart. Regraded the foundation area around the wells and reseeded without being asked. While they were in the basement doing the windows they cleaned a bunch of that up too so itâ s no longer a horror movie waiting to be filmed down there. Everything they did was simply above and beyond. Wesley Vercosa has returned my many questions and concerns with lots of information and smiles, bless him. My retired husband worked in construction for many years and he is happy and impressed with the work. We are planning more work with them already."

"Our service provider Rick Raucci came to the house and drew up an estimate for all components right on the spot and took the time to explain to us new homeowners about drain solutions and systems, which we really appreciated. This was a very big expense for us so we took a day or two to consider our options and whether or not to install all or some components (ie. just a dehumidifier or just one sump pump, etc.). We never felt pressured to make a decision ASAP, which helped make this process much less stressful. In fact Rick helped us weigh all of our options, but we recognized we had to install the full system because we had our third flood and had only been in our new house for less than four months and felt the problem could only get worse.  So we set up a day/time for installation. We had to make sure that the basement was in proper condition for before the work could take place, i.e. no loose articles, removed worked benches, move things away from the walls where the drain would be placed, etc. The crew showed up on a Friday morning and instead of one to two days, the job ended up taking four days because the crew did not show up on Saturday when they said they would. They came to finish the job on Monday, and even with the frustration we went through and the inconvenience, we came out very satisfied customers because Rick and the foreman on the job did whatever they could do to make the situation right. Overall they did a great job installing the system and it really does work!

This was an expensive endeavor for us, but I must tell you that the peace of mind we have when it rains makes the french drain and its components worth every penny. The system is amazing. As I mentioned, while everything was being installed, we had a little trouble with the crew coming back when they said they would to finish the job, but Rick really came through for us, and we will always appreciate that."
