"When we hired Power 2, we had 3 quotes for roughly the same scope of work. What set these guys apart were the ideas they brought forward to solve the problems we were trying to solve by upgrading our basement space. The project took about 6-7 weeks total and the biggest delays were really out of Power 2’s hands given it was mostly around sourcing of materials with some resource availability. These guys become part of your family for the period of time they’re in your home and they understand it’s your home. They clean up every day after they’re done, and if they don’t they tell you why. They walk you through the cost of any scope change or additional work you request and they take pride in their craftsmanship. They dont’ just fill holes with calk and putty, they cut things to fit and do things the right way. We passed every inspection with flying colors and Randy and his team really were concerned with making us happy. I’ve already hired them to do another project and I’ll likely have them help me with a few other larger projects down the line. I highly recommend these guys due to their veracity, their quality and the respect they afforded to me and my family (heck even my dogs loved them). 10/10. Thank you guys!"

"I would highly recommend Dana King Design Build Remodeling for a remodeling project. We used them for both a master bathroom and a master bedroom remodel. Both rooms turned out absolutely gorgeous. I actually heard about Dana King Design Build Remodeling through a direct mail ad and decided to see what they could do for us and our master bathroom, which was in desperate need of a remodel. We had done remodeling projects in the past, some major, such as extending our previous house to add larger bedrooms and add a jack-and-jill bathroom. We’ve also done two kitchen remodels, a theater addition, lower levels, and a couple of bathrooms. Some of the projects we general-managed, and for others we hired companies, but either way we always seemed to have to manage and “sweat each detail.” Frankly we were so done with that scenario and wanted a complete turn-key operation. That is absolutely what we got with Dana King Design Build Remodeling! When we initially reached out to Dana King Design Build Remodeling, Dana came to our home with Meg, her design architect, and they talked to us. We decided to invest in the design fee to see their ideas and what they could do for us. We are glad we did! Dana King Design Build Remodeling had wonderful ideas and are the perfect mix between personable and professional. With any remodel project there are always issues and delays, and Dana King Design Build Remodeling addressed these minor problems promptly and professionally. Our master bathroom project did not involve moving walls, but did have a large whirlpool tub that needed replacing. The bathroom was completed in late 2019 and we are thrilled with the results. We loved it so much that we decided to hire Dana King Design Build Remodeling to do our master bedroom. I did not think they could outdo themselves, but they did! The master bedroom is spectacular, even more impressive than the bath. As a designer friend of mine said: “I don’t know if I could sleep there because I would want to stay awake enjoying it!” So true, and we agree. For our master bedroom projects we worked with Meg again, and with their designer Michelle. Their ideas and furnishings were over the top and incredibly stunning. They were both easy to work with and communication for both projects was through an app called Basecamp, where everything is documented and all parties involved are notified. Don’t worry if you’re not tech savvy, I’m not, and I figured it out. We could also contact them directly by phone or text, which I also did. The carpentry in the master bedroom, which involved beautiful moldings and “paneling look,” was done by Kent, who did a phenomenal job. Kent also supervised all the trades coming through the house: electricians, blinds, painters, etc. Kent was a pleasure to work with, very conscientious and an all-around nice guy. Dana King Design Build Remodeling followed all safety protocols for Covid-19, including masks, a washing station at the entrance, and sanitizing upon exiting. They were patient with us regarding delaying the project start date, as it was in March of 2020. Even though furnishings were ordered and delivered, they stored all items until we felt comfortable with starting the project. In conclusion, we are extremely pleased with the job Dana King Design Build Remodeling did for our master bathroom and master bedroom. They were not the least expensive, but we held them to high standards for the price paid and they followed through. No regrets!"

"This professional team completed several projects for me in the last few years. Projects include the removal and replacement of 17 doors and all baseboards in the entire house; replacement of a custom-made oval window; stair banister replacement and renovation of the existing newel posts and handrails. Current project includes kitchen remodeling including cabinets, counter tops, and backsplash replacements. "Exceptional service. Tom and his team exceeded our expectations in every possible way during the landscaping process. My wife and I wanted our largest retaining wall rebuilt as it had begun to lean excessively creating an unsightly and unsafe area in our backyard. We met Tom last year to discuss the project and he was easily able to answer all of our questions and offer some suggestions. The proposal was delivered to us in a timely manner and Tom started the project a week earlier than expected. The team working on the retaining wall were impressive. This was a complex wall to rebuild. When the wall was originally built, we learned it didn’t have any 3/4” crushed stone along most of the wall or geogrid in most places. Tom and his team made it look easy. They showed up each day early and on-time. The guys were very friendly and accommodating. In fact, Tom was onsite every day to drop off supplies or ensure everything was progressing as planned. During the entire project, all of the landscape rock, dirt, and material was always delivered on time and the right amount. There were no delays other than a brief rainstorm. Since I was working from home during the construction, I was able to monitor the progress. I felt they really took pride in their work. Yea it’s a retaining wall, but a big one and it was engineered perfectly. It has really made a difference to our landscape. We gained 5+ feet of additional space along the length of the wall too. In addition, we wanted our existing steps down to the backyard replaced as they were built incorrectly. The original spacing was too narrow for anyone to walk down without tripping. We decided on a natural stone step and used a grey limestone. This was a perfect choice. The steps look amazing! Plus, we no longer trip. In summary, I thought this landscape company was a great find and a hidden gem in St Louis. We are so happy with our new backyard and would recommend Tom and his team to anyone!"
