Working with Dave Johnson, his crew and various subcontractors under his supervision has been a pleasure from the start.

During the planning phase Dave developed a thorough understanding of our desires by asking many questions, then pointed out potential problems and alternative approaches . He provided a full set of design drawings for our approval before proceeding to the estimate and contract signing.

Work on the addition began in early winter and continued through cold and stormy weather, Christmas and New Years holidays, and a six-week period while we were on vacation. Throughout that time Dave kept in frequent communication with us via Email and text messages, including photos, to show work progress and to answer any questions we had. The project continued to completion with minimum disruption to our daily lives after we returned from vacation.

We were pleased during the entire project with Dave's politeness, professionalism, expertise, attentiveness and attention to detail. His own work crew, as well as subcontractors, seemed well-versed in their areas of work and carried out Dave's desire for perfection. The result is a neat, well-finished addition which meets our highest expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend Dave Johnson Builders to anyone looking for quality work from a qualified builder.

"A&D Renovations was a dream to work and I'll consider them for all my future home projects from now on. I contacted Dennis based on his rating here on Angie's List and was not disappointed. He scheduled in my appointments around his busy schedule and provided me a professional and courteous experience. I always felt we were on the same page and Dennis welcomed phone calls or emails from me, even over the holidays if I had any questions. His focus was understanding my vision and to execute it as I wanted it done. The job was completed on time and looks fantastic. I highly recommend A&D Renovations to any friend or family member."

"Kevin is prompt and courteous. He installed a new sink and garbage disposal even having to cut our granite countertops to make it fit. He is fair prices and thorough. I will hire him for all my household projects in the future. Highly recommend"

"Kaydn and his partner did a great job rebuilding our deck they worked fast sometimes working until dark most days. They were able to manage unforeseen issues that came up during the job well giving us plenty of info. Would recommend."

"We had the most amazing experience with our basement remodeling. It was done quickly and efficiently. The end product was exactly what we wanted, gaining additional space and comfort. We utilize the new space as a den for our family to play games and watch movies. It’s our new favorite spot in the house. I recommend this company to anyone looking for a basement remodel."

"Don and Clay were very skilled, experienced, professional and imaginative in producing the fine functional doors we requested. A mix up with paint at the store created unexpected additional painting cost that was not their responsibility. We will hire Sunapee again for further residential work. Good job!"

"We had our kitchen completely remodeled by Hutchins and Son. Owner Don is great to work with. He was able to provide us with the exact custom cabinets and custom color we were looking for. I highly recommend Don and his son ."

"Jeff is very personable, knowledgeable and professional. He came and gave us a quote within two days and came and did the job within a week. We were so impressed that we asked him to do additional work. We had him paint a hallway and stairwell which came out beautiful. We are very happy with the work Jeff did. We will not hesitate to have him do further work when needed. His fees are very reasonable which is an added plus. Thanks again for the great work."

"Trey and Joe were outstanding. Fair price, quick, thorough communication, and high quality work. They arrived early, did the job efficiently and cleaned up after themselves as well. They even inspected and adjusted my existing gutters at no additional cost to me. 10/10 would recommend. Super nice guys to boot!"

"Andrew and his crew did an amazing job building this garage. Even though he ran into some issues with the supplier of products he went above and beyond to make sure we were kept informed. Additionally, he also replaced (and improved) an existing garage door in the lower level of our home. He also repaired some siding on our house. They even put our two garage door openers in. Overall, we were more than please with his work and his crew."
