"First, and most important, don't take my "B" grades as bad grades. I'm fussy. The bottom line is, I would have Spartan back to do future work. We had work (two bathroom remodels) done late summer 2018 - as I write it is May 2019 and not a day goes by when my wife and I aren't pleased with our "new" bathrooms. I'd call Spartans "caring craftsmen." There work is beautiful. Mike was always available to discuss the progress of the project. Not surprising there were changes mid-project -- some upgrades, some cutbacks. The upgrades were well worth it. A couple of things I'd like better: the project lasted 10 weeks, I'm told that's not outrageous but I wish it was 8 weeks. Previous walls were wallpaper and I wanted to pull all wallboard off down to the studs. Spartan thought that was an unnecessary expense. But, as it turns out, the wallpaper wouldn't come off and we had to go down to the studs and it cost two (maybe three) days of trying. On the plus side - the new shower looks fabulous; the ceramic tile (full bath) and ceramic floors were masterfully done; and the wood working to install new vanities and cabinet doors were done with great attention to detail. And Spartan brought in excellent plumbers and electricians. Do be discouraged by my "B" grade - I wish the job could have gone faster and the final bill was a tad lower, but maybe I'm being unrealistic. I wasn't gouged and the rooms look great!"

Good customer service and very responsive to email questions throughout the project.  We had an early surprise at the start of the project, not to vendor's doing, and they were very responsive in identifying a solution and cost.  We added a few things along the way and again they were very responsive in giving us a price and timing.  We had problems with a consistent finish on the new wood flooring and while I would have preferred a faster response to correct the problem I know that it is not always that simple when working with subcontractors and their schedule.  The 'quality' of the work is truly the best and I would hire Craftsman Renovations for future projects.

"WANT A BATHROOM REMODEL? Go with Jerry Boyd ( Finely Done For You ) We looked for over a year to find someone to update our bathroom and got quotes from numerous remodelers. We decided to go with Mr. Boyd and glad we did we were blown away by the level of customer service. He was incredibly attentive and made sure we got what we wanted for example I wanted a walk in shower with the seat built in and as with all remodels something unexpected happens and it wasn't there but he seen my disappointment and without hesitation made sure I got it! There was a small delay in the remodel but that was due to ordering issues and he kept us informed at all times.We were highly satisfied with the outcome,my only regret is that I didn't take before and after pictures."

"Bathroom wet space (tub) remodel with Five Star Baths went smoothly for the most part! The transformation is stunning! The quality of the work is exceptional—everything looks polished and feels durable. Communication was somewhat challenging. It was difficult to find a suitable time to connect and discuss the project in detail within my work hours and the hours they have available. Additionally, the final inspection took longer than expected to schedule. I had to personally reach out to coordinate a time that would work and had the expectation that someone would reach out within the next few weeks after the renovations. While this added some extra steps to the process, once the inspection was arranged, the team was efficient in completing it. Overall, I’m thrilled with the end result and would still recommend their services!"

"Croixside replaced seven windows in my new house. They also replaced two pieces of glass in a very old bay window. All was very affordable. Very efficient, flexible with time and payment. Mike was very pleasant and enjoyable to talk to and he was very patient with any questions I had. I will recommend them for any window job. Even had a quote to redo my kitchen cabinets. Have not gotten that done yet but I trust they will do an amazing job."
