Comment: We have several projects. One being the kitchen. The other being a small bathroom. The kitchen is small and we need a built in removed and wall opened up to expand the kitchen into the existing laundry room. This may require a structural engineer because we believe that the built in/wall is load bearing. Since we are impeding on the laundry room, we are looking to utilize what appears to be a pantry area in the existing kitchen for some stackables ( washer/dryer ). That pantry area also connects to the bathroom we are looking to expand. This bathroom is attached to a bedroom but is the size of a linen closet. It needs to be reconfigured to maximize space and functionality. We'd like to remove the mini tub and just replace it with a simple shower pan. A bench would also be preferred for elderly father who will be using this bathroom.
