If you're looking for the cheapest option, Lux isn't for you. You're paying for quality, workmanship, speed, and professionalism. I hired Lux to renovate an unfinished basement space (one main room, one large storage / utilities area, and a laundry space. They gave me a time estimate to start, and actually were able to come in early. The folks who did the job were polite, amazing at their work, and I think my dogs fell in love with them. They were finished MUCH faster than I expected. They handled all the inspections, electrical, carpeting...it was so easy for me. I can't recommend Lux (and Tim!) enough.

Excellent work! They focus on detail! Couldn't be happier with the results even after several obstacles along the way. At times, communication could be improved, but overall a good experience.

I was so lucky to find Peter in my area. When I first met him, I could tell he was a reputable man. He rebuilt and expanded my back deck and put in a new side security door and storm door. The doors were great quality and look and work perfect. I was blown away at how good our deck came out. What I liked about his work was he does it right the first time. He takes no short cuts. Quality workmanship all around. My wife and I plan on hiring him again to do some inside work. I felt that he priced the job correctly and he even did some extra things he really didn't have to that others would not have done. He takes pride in his work and it certainly shows. I would Highly Recommend Peter for all your carpentry and building needs. We also loved Lilly.

He installed a glass backsplash in my kitchen and did an excellent job. Arrived on time, had all the right tools and creatively solved a minor installation issue. Very professional and knowledgeable. I’ll hire him again.

Derek and Brett have done an outstanding job assessing my barn project. It's a custom project that needed a lot of creative thinking, and it's still in the works. It involves foundation work, concrete, sill work, walls, floor and roof on one end of the building. Very complex "recapturing" project of an older building, and needed to be done one section at a time. They have been great to work with, I'll be using them again for sure.

I would definitely recommend Carpenter LLC for all construction needs. They are very knowledgeable and professional. I had been looking to complete a whole kitchen renovation, take down a load bearing wall and totally change the look of my house. We met several times, they were patient with me, walked me through the whole construction process, and referred me to companies to purchase cabinets, countertops, etc. This was a FHA203K program loan, so there was a great deal of paperwork involved. They were very understanding of the timeline required for this process. I could not be happier with how my kitchen turned out and the service I received from the team at Carpenter LLC.

I hired Proper Construction for my pool deck. Al and company had to change plans mid-dig due to a drain easement I have in my backyard. He was able to calculate what needed to be done and adjusted on the fly. I was amazed he was able to deviate from the plans drawn up and adapt to a whole new layout. Al and Rich were very personable and very easy to communicate with. They were always punctual and totally respectful of my property. Overall, I plan to use these guys again. I know I can be a pain with my questions and concerns and I have to say they handled the whole job professionally and with a great attitude even through the unexpected set-back. For anything I canâ t handle on my own, Iâ m calling Proper first before anyone else. Simple as that. I highly recommend others do the same.
