"The first thing that happened was that Calvin showed up to discuss what I needed in a new deck. I told him about my space issues and we came up with a great idea for an unusual shape that would accommodate a crowded driveway/garage door space and a basement egress window. Calvin drew up a plan on the spot and I loved it. He even adjusted the height of the stairs for my senior dog. The crew was very professional and skilled. The construction was quick and clean. The result was amazing. Everyone who has seen it has raved over the unique shape and the beautiful red wood we chose for the floor. We are overjoyed with our new deck. "Ryan is very responsive, but a lot of the details (trim, corners, clean up) in the the job were poorly done for the tiles and carpentry. There were some significant mistakes around executing the asked for design that ended up causing delays and costing more money. If you hire him, you should check his crew work routinely so mistakes can be corrected. He is really good at fixing the mistakes while the job is ongoing. Unfortunately, I have been finding things a month later and fixing them now would be cost prohibited."
