"In June of this year, an old (32 yrs. old) self-contained unit decided it was time to retire and communication was lost on the upstairs split system. With a family reunion scheduled within a few days the family at Giesbrecht installed new duct work to the upstairs to supply cool air until the part for the split system was delivered and a new self-contained unit was installed. Although I was an existing customer (2 new units about 6 yrs ago), this type of customer service was over and beyond any expectations. The amount of people and communication from the office to support all the work that was involved was outstanding. There were many people at Giesbrecht, on the ground and at the office, that supported these activities that were necessary to complete all of the work involved. I highly recommend Giesbrecht HVAC to anyone that expects outstanding service and commitment. "Better than expected. Phil was the only contractor that responded AND came to my house on the same day that I called all the other contractors. He provided me the potential problem for my heat pump issues on the phone that eventually was confirmed during his initial visit and then during disassembly of the old duct system. He was very helpful in providing me additional savings and existing tax credits for the Attic Breeze vent system installed including for the heat pump providing me with the forms. Swift service done on a short time from initial call to complete installation (less than 1 week and completed installation in 7 hours). Great job by the technicians on the installation and housekeeping after the job was completed. Ben A."

"I was having a problem with MS Office not responding and other files being very, very slow to open. Jim started looking for the cause right away. He did numerous checks for viruses, malware, and various other things that can go wrong. He vigorously pursued a resolution pretty steadily for two days before determining it was a malfunctioning external backup system that was causing the problem. With that finding, he promptly got my computer running smoothly and very fast again. He made two trips to my house; on the first one, he had to cross a sheet of ice in my driveway. Jim is a very capable and experienced computer analyst that will get after your problem because he fully understands the importance of, and the need to have a working computer in the house.

"No work was performed. Angie's List has been unable to remove this from my account and I'm tired of the popups. The service coupon was offered from a vendor on the West Coast to me in VA. The company name is exactly as one listed in VA so I errantly purchased the coupon. Angie's List refunded the money but multiple attempts to remove this aborted service scheduling have failed. This is my attempt at removing it from the system and quit nagging me EVERY time I log in to write a review.

"Overall, it was a good experience. AAA put down a vapor barrier and installed a Santa Fe dehumidifier with sump pump. The result is that we can now use the stand-up basement/crawlspace to store things under the house without ruining them. This is the part that you need to know. The installation was not without problems. First, they broke an A/C drain pipe, second, they cut a sprinkler controller wire while running a PVC pipe. Here's my take, accidents happen but how does the business respond to these issues? Well, Donna was very quick to send her team out to correct the problems and they even paid for the damage to the sprinkler system. To me, that's top notch customer service. Any business can make a mistake, but how they handle it is the mark of a good company. Every time I lift the roll door and go into the basement now, I'm amazed at how cool and fresh the air is down there. No more mildew and no more smell."

"Very well! Matthew our assigned project manager was very thorough and respectful. He kept our property guarded! We had a few people pop by the house to "check" things out and he respected our home. He called to see if these people were allowed on the property. He and I traveled through the house where he showed me how the work was being conducted. He also showed me problem areas. And explained throughly how it would work. There were about 5 guys working in the dead heat of July! where days it was almost unbearable. I was onsite 2 days here and there where I provided beverages and popcicles to cool off. They were able to complete the work a day a head of schedule! Now that we're into November. I have to say that my floors feel fantastic. No bowing. No bouncing. Plus their work is Lifetime!! So if we ever feel a problem we know just who to call!"

"The Technician seem to know his job and seems very experienced in it. He explained why the furnace was not allowing heat to through. There was a part that had to be checked every few years and cleaned. And he did it put the back inside the furnace and the heat started."

"Our house is covered by American Home Shield. So, they'll find someone if I need something done to my air conditioner or my heating system. I don't know the cost off hand."
