"I really like them. I saw them several times. It's something I look for in any contractors. They have to know what they are doing and reasonably priced at the same time. They do a very good job plus they're reasonably priced. I've had them treat some of my rental properties and they do the discount.  I can't remember what I paid but it was a good price. I wish they were lower but they're lower than most pest control companies. I don't think they were ever late."

I am very disappointed with the overall service I received from Blue Valley Pest Control. I called Chris (the owner) because I had noticed that insects were putting holes in our front doorframe. Chris came over and inspected our property and took care of the run-of-the-mill insects but said that he was unsure what was causing the holes in our doorframe. He said that his best guess was that they were carpenter ants and that he would treat them as such. I was a little bit surprised by the fact that he was unable to identify the cause of the damage when he claims to have over 30 years of experience. Nonetheless, I had him treat for the carpenter ants.

Later that day, I contacted Chris again to let him know that I was fortunate enough to witness the insect going back into one of the holes and that I took a couple pictures of it. He asked me to send him the pictures so he could properly identify it and so we could take the proper course of action. However, after sending him the pictures, I never heard back from him. I have tried calling him, leaving him a couple voicemails, and even sent him an email (all of which were ignored). I was quite surprised because Chris has a great personality and seemed very friendly. As a result, I am now forced to contact another pest control company to take care of what I expected Blue Valley Pest Control to do in the first place.

"I am a Realtor and have used Jeff TheBugMan for years to do inspections and treatments on homes that I have sold. He is always very knowledgeable and friendly. His crew is always prompt and efficient. His prices are more than fair. When my Aunt's home needed a treatment to be sold, I knew my only choice was TheBugMan. Myself, along with many other Realtors in the KC Metro area, use Jeff. His company also does extermination for pests.

"Bob was great! Very personable. Told me what needed to be done and what options I had. Then he came out within the hour and treated the lawn. After that he took me around, showed me what he did and how I should follow up in a week to see if the pests are gone. Great job Bob!!!"

"After the inspection, Edward decided that a preventative application was best suited for my situation. He explained to me the process and made me feel comfortable about the safety of application (given I have children). He went through all the details and made me feel confident in the treatment and quickly became a trusted vendor. I would recommend Edward from Stop Bugging Me Pest Control to friends and family - you will not be disappointed."

"One person came out to fix the light and somehow got it working, but wasn't certain it would keep working. He told me that he would come back if it stopped working.  It stopped working soon after he left.  He had an electrician (certified) come out within a few days who quickly diagnosed the problem - the switch box controls three lights.  The box had been incorrectly wired probably when the house was build.  He corrected the faulty wiring and the switch works fine now.  Both guys were nice.  The electrician came a day after he called to set the appointment because he was going to be starting a big job and mine would not have been gotten to otherwise.  I appreciated this.
This company does a lot of different handyman services including bathroom and kitchen remodels.  I will talk with them about a bathroom remodel.
