I hired Schmitty's to remove an old double bowl kitchen sink and faucet with a new single bowl sink and upgraded faucet. There was no upselling or attempts to convince us to replace our garbage disposal which two of the other plumbers recommended we do. We saw no reason to replace our disposal which functions well and is not that old. Partners Drake and Gage came out to our home as scheduled, and they got to work immediately working efficiently and thoroughly. We appreciated their no-nonsense, honest, prompt service, and very fair pricing. I chose Schmitty's based on the positive customer reviews, and would hire them again. "We were in a jam. We are attempting to buy our first home. We had our inspection scheduled and on the morning of, we learned of a potential plumbing issue. There was a report filed with the city stating that a couple of years ago there was some kind of sewer back up. This house is old, so I wanted to make sure we weren't signing up for any potential problems. I called around to local plumbers in the area. NONE of them were able to accommodate our need on this shortened time frame. I got Zach's number from a contractor friend of mine and in a last ditch effort gave him a call. He was very patient with my partner and I, making room for us that evening to show up in exemplary fashion. He did a full inspection of our sewer lines with a camera and explained to us what the different piping meant. He then tested our water pressure and advised us to request that the seller offer concessions to cover the cost of putting in a pressure reduction valve. He explained the reasoning behind his recommendations and took time to insure that we understood why he was recommending these services. He also took the time to explain and answer questions about potential upgrades as my partner wants to upgrade the hot water tank. He outlined different product options and explained with great knowledge and detail the differences between the products. I would highly recommend this company. If we get the home we will definitely be having this company come back and preform the necessary work that is needed for our new home."
