"Wonderful from start to finish. He showed up when he said he would and was very neat and cleaned up after each visit. He progressed quickly and is skilled at what he does. He had great suggestions and will do whatever you want. I love my bathroom and would definetly use him again. His help from plumber to electrician were also great choices. I was very comfortable having them in my home. The process was much quicker than I excpected and the end result is beautiful! Thanks again for a great experience Louie! Looking forward to working with you on our kitchen."

"I found John on Anji, after interviewing 4 contractor's my whole family and myself felt he was the right person for the job. With over 40 year's of experience and licensed in plumbing and electrical he can do it all. He's got a great personality and Mike his helper was amazing as well. We've lived in our home for 27 year's and the bathrooms needed to be desperately upgraded. We also had no vents in our bathrooms and had mold issues which is not good at all. Here's some before and after pictures, my whole family and friends are blown away at the transformation and I am so thrilled at John's work. He's very prompt and cleans up at the end of everyday, very respectful of my home. A++++"

"After 37 1/2 years, our septic tank/cesspool finally got overwhelmed and our house drain piping started to periodically clog and back-up.  Without knowing for sure, I called the owner of Priority, John, and he discussed the "symptoms" and cures to the point where I felt I reasonably understood what was going on and how to address the likely problem. John was very professional and patient in discussing what I was facing and what his technicians might or might not discover once they came to the house to directly assess the problem.
Our technician, Paul, was very professional and helpful in explaining every step of the process, after he made his evaluation.  In
addition to first fixing a leaky toilet which contributed to our septic tank/cesspool problem, he went through our entire house to assess our situation.  We mentioned to him that we knew virtually nothing about our septic tank/cesspool assembly and had never had the system treated, being very careful over the years regarding what went down our drains.  We found an old photo which Paul
mentioned was the top of our septic tank/cesspool assembly from when we first had the house built on a vacant lot.  We vaguely knew where it was located and Paul used a metal detector to locate the top of the assembly.
Paul proceeded to confirm what he expected and pumped out both the septic tank and cesspool, while prepping the assembly with a collar and new cover for future access and treatment.  He then snaked out a clog at the adjacent drain pipe on the side of the house and then had us test all our sinks, showers/tubs and toilets to make sure the system was running perfectly.
Our overall experience was very satisfactory for this unexpected problem, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Priority to others, or use them again for future treatments.

FAQs for plumbing projects in Commack, NY

Schedule a plumbing inspection every one to two years to ensure your system is in good working order. Regular inspections can help you catch minor issues before they become costly problems, like major water damage repairs. You should also consider a plumbing inspection when buying or selling a home or if you notice signs of a plumbing issue. Staying proactive with maintenance can save you money and stress in the long run.

A plumbing inspection for a standard one-story to two-story home takes between two and three hours. For larger residences, historic homes, or rental complexes, a complete inspection requires a full-day commitment of eight hours. However, this does not account for any necessary repairs that your plumber might find, so it’s best to set aside additional time during the inspection in case an unexpected repair comes up.

When built with quality materials, your plumbing system endures for decades. CPVC, brass, iron, and steel provide reliable service for 50 to 70 years, while copper extends durability up to 100 years, and PEX maintains performance for 80 to 100 years. Maintaining this system with regular inspections and prompt repairs guarantees long-term efficiency.

You should repipe your home when your plumbing exceeds its expected lifespan or uses hazardous materials like lead, polybutylene, or galvanized steel. Persistent leaks, corrosion, and compromised water quality signal that your existing piping no longer meets safety standards. Repiping eliminates potential health risks and prevents extensive water damage.
