"I called Matt on a Sunday in need of a plumber for Monday and he rearranged his schedule to help us out so we could move forward with our bathroom renovation after listening to our situation. He came over and removed our old cast iron tub which was just a bonus because I was going to keep it even though I didn’t want to. He also put in a new shower valve and fixtures, tub drain, sink faucet, and toilet. It was a big job and he did it effortlessly and I couldn’t believe he was at our house in less than 24 hours of calling him. "He was very congenial and I really enjoyed having him work at my house.  He did explain that he was not a carpenter by trade and a small portion of the work had to be touched up.  That is definitely more my problem than his.  I have no complaint about his plumbing work for sure.  However, his suggestions for fixing the hot water issue were a lot of money.  I have to explain, they were definitely consistent with what many other plumbers on line recommend to fix the problem.  Just by chance, however, I mentioned the issue to my gas company and they recommended a plumber who came out and fixed the problem in under 15 minutes for under $200.  So, the older plumber who had "been around" was able to "try a fix" that the more professional plumbers perhaps could not entertain.  So, generally, I like him a lot and would definitely use him again for regular plumbing issues."
