"Great service. Eddie Cox come out on a Monday and told me what the worker would do. The worker came out on Wednesday on time both days and did and amazing job. The worker clean up all concrete you would never know they were there.I live in LaPlata had to get permission to widen the end of my driveway. You would never know that that they touch my driveway it look beautiful. I call several concrete companies in Charles county and these company were rude and took week to call me back. One companies I call still waiting for a call back. But thank to 7th State Builders, LLC I got the job done and excellent job. Due to a stroke I had the driveway widen to give me more freedom. So if you need concrete work big or small job call 7th State Builders to get it done right. I am a woman writing this review very happy with this company. Very professional staff to deal with. "I called Waterproofing Inc on a Wednesday and we scheduled an appointment for an estimate for Saturday. Steve promptly came at the scheduled time and we reviewed the situation in my basement.   I told him of my goal to have a finished DRY basement.  He looked at my existing pump and drain. He suggested that I could apply (or have applied) plastic sheeting to the walls to help with the seepage problem. However, he doesn't do that type of work. He also asked me what I thought the problem was with the moisture problem. He suggested that he could extend the current waterproofing system along the entire back wall and gave me a written estimate for that work. The reason that I rated him a B and said I would hire him was because I didn't feel confident in his diagnosis of the root cause of the water problem and his proposed solution to address the issue so that my basement could be dry. I am looking for a one stop shop with a solution driven individual who comes in as a problem solver. I just didn't get that from Steve. He didn't even look (or ask to look) outside the house to see how the water comes off the back of the house where the problem is.  I'm guess if I just wanted someone to drill up the concrete and put a drain in, he would be fine because his price was reasonable for that work. But I'm looking for a holistic solution provider who will address all issues with the most effective and efficient techniques to keep my basement dry.  I just wouldn't hire him for that role."

"I was blown away by the work performed by Falls Church Paving Company. They returned my initial call in less than 24 hrs and began our project within 2 business days. Unlike the other companies that I received quotes from, Falls Church Paving used a crew of 4 to 5 and over $100K worth of equipment to include a paving machine and a vibratory roller. FC Paving removed and hauled away my existing 20 yr old driveway, installed 21A stone gravel base and widened the right and left sides of my driveway using 3" of asphalt. I was impressed with their precision and workmanship - especially after speaking with several contractors who were going to lay asphalt on top of my existing driveway and only hand stamp - no paving machine or roller - at a higher cost no less! "If you need to replace your underground oil tank, then you're freaking out about the expense and possible catastrophic complications.   So do yourself a favor and call Willard.    This wonderful family company makes everything easy.    

Our very positive experience started with the initial visit by Josh.    Then company owner Billy Willard answered all our many questions.   Considering the options, we decided to purchase a Roth tank.    Not just more compact than other brands, it also has a 30-year warranty.   Willard is the only company in Virginia certified to install Roths.    

Our work was scheduled quickly.    Willard called Miss Utility and also our county -- we didn't have to do a thing.   The Roth tank fit neatly into our garage and Billy and his crew took great care with every detail of its complicated installation.    The removal of our underground tank went really well too, even though the tank turned out to be quite deep.    Frank and Josh worked very carefully to expose but not damage the old tank, and to transfer oil into the new tank.    Then the old tank was prepared so the residual oil could be pumped for recycling.    We hadn't even realized this step would take place, because Willard had made all the arrangements.   Next the tank was lifted and soil samples were taken.      Then, using a truckload of fill Willard supplied as well as the excavated soil, the enormous hole was filled, carefully graded and sown with grass seed.     

You can imagine how many heavy vehicles were in motion to accomplish all this, yet there was not the slightest damage to our fence, landscaping, driveway or house. 

Meanwhile, Tim was connecting the new Roth tank to our furnace, working with ingenuity around the maze of ducting. pipes and wires in our basement.   He wasn't satisfied until he was sure the connection was perfect.   

We thought the entire crew was awesome, and that opinion was validated when the county fire inspector approved everything they'd done.   The Willards and Josh Delaney were not just expert, they were really friendly and considerate.    It was a pleasure to have them around,  They turned what had been a huge nightmare into a perfectly executed solution.

"Two employees showed up at my home on time to do an estimate on the few things we needed repaired to complete the sale of our home. The work performed is provided in detail. I was totally shocked at the cost for the repairs on the estimate but we went a head and agreed to having the work performed since we're close to our settlement date. I must say the work performed on everything except the electrical panel was top notch. I say this because the labeling of the electrical panel was completed by writing in Black magic marker what rooms were on each breaker. I was expecting at least to see printed labels used for what we were charged. I/we were expecting to pay $300 - $500 for these few things to be fixed but boy was I am thankful for the work performed but I wouldn't hire this company again only because their prices are outrageous.

"It went extremely well! They were punctual, hardworking and professional. It was necessary to dig up my neighbor's landscaping, so they were very careful to disturb only what was necessary and to restore everything to its original condition. They even replaced her broken underground downspout extension (which was draining into my basement!) without comment or additional charge. When my neighbor accused them of causing a problem, MJ was quick to respond and the team on-site made a point of apologizing to her in person. I don't think MJ caused the problem, so I was very impressed that they "went high" to investigate the matter and, as I said, apologize for the inconvenience she felt she suffered. The work they did inside to remove mold and seal the wall was thorough and neat. The gentleman doing the work cleaned up everything and took all of his equipment and trash with him. his is especially important since he was working with strong chemicals. My contact in the office was prompt to address anything I threw her way. It was easy to make payments online. Best of all - no sign of water in the basement since they were here!!"

"They show up on time. Right before they started to work we decide to have a thin layer of stone put underneath the storm door and they no problem with that request. We had talked about it earlier but we were uncertain we could replace the storm door in the smaller opening. They were willing to change out several stones for us, a courtesy which made it necessary for them to return an extra morning. Even though the owner was not present during the work we found it necessary to work through him in order to expedite these changes. They also returned after they were payed in full to put in some asphalt in order to make a even transition with our driveway at our request. There is a sunken spot in the lawn where the trailer sat but it is not a big deal."

"That was OK. The supervisor came out and assessed what the work was going to be and then he brought out a crew. They did the work and they did it fine. They just took too long to do it and I wanted more work to be done in that time. They completed the work  at the end of September and we didn't spend anything extra."
