"So Nir and Alexander just left my property. They installed two new Chimney Chases. My entire experience with Chimney Sweep Clean has been absolutely marvelous. Initially when I found Nir on a recommendation by a friend, he answered politely and was at my property the next day. A fair estimate was given and I had to wait two weeks for the custom made chases. Remarkably the Chases were made in only a week, he called me and was there the next day and they were installed. Amazing!!! The cleanliness and professionalism with which Nir runs his business is really remarkable. The new custom made chases look great. As well during the installation process he took pictures step by step so he could explain it to me. You just don't find companies who operate like this much anymore. It took them an hour-and-a-half to complete the job. They sent me a picture of the chimney. The price was great. They did show up."

"I sent a quote request to Jose the other day to replace my chimney cap which had blown off earlier in the week. About an hour later I got a phone call and that evening he came by to assess the job and provide me a quote. The next morning at 8am, he was on my roof getting the job done. As promised, Carmine called when he was 45 minutes away from our house so I had plenty of time to leave work and meet him.  He was friendly and extremely professional, even asking my permission before entering the house. He even asked me if he could call me "Steve", or would I prefer Mr. Carr. He and his worker Bill were clean and dressed nicely. They spread a blanket in front of the fireplace and cleaned up when they finished. They noticed a water stain on our living room ceiling and offered to check the flashing on the roof. They found a three inch hole and fixed it immediately, provided us with a 7 year warranty. Colonial was half the price of the other Chimney sweeps on Angie's List and it's hard for me to imagine anyone providing better service.

"While searching for someone to replace the very large leaking Palladian window above my front door, I found Timothy's Home Improvements in Angie's List. Timothy was quick to respond to my call and provided me with a reasonable estimate. After discussing the job with Timothy I was confident that Tim and his crew were competent and could do the job to my satisfaction. In the course of installing the window Tim's team found rot in the door and side window frames. We modified the contract to cover the rot repairs. Tim's crew went to work and did a beautiful job install the window and repairing the rotten trim. We also hired Tim to install drywall in my basement bathroom, the basement closet, and the garage ceiling. The drywall was installed in a timely
fashion and was finished ready for paint.
I was very happy with the work Tim and his gang did. Through the whole process of installing the window, making repairs to the front door and trim, and installing the drywall, Tim kept us informed of his progress and was always easy to contact (Tim always responded to my calls in 24 hours or less).

"The service rep was very safety conscious and went over safety details on how to properly build a fire, how to dispose of the embers, how to avoid extra smoke coming into the house.  he did a thorough examination of the chimney flues, inside and outside and checked some brick facing in the attic that a previous inspector had explained needed to be re-mortared.  He had a thorough knowledge of the construction of our chimney and pronounced in in very good condition.  He also confirmed the proper discharge location for fallen embers into the basement, which had been a worry for us.  He pronounced that in good shape as well.  He also went over the idea we wanted to explore of making the fireplace into a two sided one and he explained that this was indeed possible.  but he recommended that we use the third flu, which he discovered and which no one had told us about, and explained we could convert that flu to a gas fired fireplace flu for the room on the other side. 
He cleaned up well after himself and was professional throughout.  I will use him again every year.
