"We contacted Cowan's during the busy season, he responded by text only. We explained what we needed. It took about 2 weeks of texting and trying to getting responses to final set a time for him to come out. One of his workers came and did the cleaning. He did not cover anything around the stove, he left hand and foot (soot) prints everywhere he touched and walked. He left my fromt door open the whole time he was here (35* degrees outside) He did a partial job of cleaning up after himself. When I mentioned to him about the marks he left, all he could say was I don't have rags to clean. I spoke to Mr. Cowen about how unhappy I was with the way things were left and he said he would talk his worker and just use soap and water to clean everything. I should not have to clean up after Cowan's job. When I offer to pay him he told me to keep my money and Goodbye."

"Rightway Waterproofing is the company you want to come and waterproof your basement. I had initially set up a job looking for pros through Angie's List. I was contacted by Rightway Waterproofing via phone and email but did not respond as life happens. Well it rained really heavy again in August and I had more water in the basement. I reached out to them on a Friday and Albert contacted me immediately. They were able to come out on Monday to look at my property. Jake was thorough and friendly. He let me know what he thought we needed, explained everything thoroughly and gave us a quote which was completely reasonable. We accepted the bid and work was to commence on Thurs as they had an opening. Work was completed in one day. The area was kept pristine and they did an amazing job. The crew was courteous to my family. I could not recommend them more. I hope to have them out again at some point to finish my basement area as well. Try to keep in mind that during the season of covid many families are looking for ways to make more space in their homes or to have to home projects done. The stack stone was put in well,only two chipped pieces, and they could have taken into account the overall look of the building to account for some stone that had a slight difference in color than the others and looked out of place due to that difference, but it was installed well."

"I purchased the $149 deal for 6 hours of work. I received an email about a week or so later asking when I wanted the work to be done but I was on vacation. I replied when I returned and waited for a response. After about a week I called and left a voicemail. I received a return call and set up a date. On the scheduled date I received a call that the worker had not showed up so I rescheduled for later date based on my availability. The worker showed up on the scheduled date and did a fantastic job. I provide lawn and leaf bags and gloves, but he actually brought his own leaf blower. He bagged all of the leaves and pulled all of the weeds around our shed, which included old raspberry bushed with thorns. Scheduling could have been a little better but in the end we were very happy with the work for the price we paid."
