I have spent 30+ years in a combined Professional and Home Audio arena. This led me down the path of acquiring a profession into the Healthcare IT/Bio-Medical Engineering environment. While working in these spaces I have maintained a large network of customers supporting their home audio/visual and home networking needs. In addition, I have also supported many small businesses with their networking and IT requirements. My business takes great pride in my experience, expertise, quality, and customer service that I provide to meet the consumer's needs. It is my mission to provide excellent workmanship and complete customer satisfaction from start to completion of a project. In order to understand the needs and expectations of my customers, I take great care to work and communicate with every customer in a professional manner. "Flexible re appt times. Adjusted his Sun (2nd appt) time w me to be 1 hour earlier, @ my request. I changed all my plans ; waited for him. He never showed up or called/texted/emailed to change time or cancel. Maybe he forgot. Yet there were some basic things computer program-wise he should have known how to do to help me. For example, he stayed 2 hours the 1st visit wasted 1/2 the time I was paying him for creating a ; of little snippets of my History of web sites I would been, most of which I had passwords for. ALL these passwords have to be changed, a daunting task. I have an A thru Z notebook of them but discovered that there are more. William offered to create a history document and put it on my desktop, for easy access. INSTEAD OF CREATING ONLY ONE LIST, HE COPIED THE ITEMS IN SEPARATE SHORT LISTS. I asked why he could not copy them all @ once, so he would only have to do the copying process one time. He was finally able to do it but had not known how at first had to research how to do it. Once he was finished, the whole document was NOT on my desktop. It was hidden somewhere else. I asked the steps to retrieve it and he told me such fast instructions that I could not write them down . The document disappeared when I backspace did not know how to get it back. SO, I COULD NOT DO A PROCESS I WAS TO COMPLETE BEFORE HIS 2ND APPT, WHICH HE NEVER SHOWED UP FOR. NOW I AM BACK TO SQUARE 1, AFTER PAYING HIM A LOT OF $. I WOULD SUGGEST NOT USING HIM, AS HE DID Not HELP ME, WAS NOT FAMILIAR W SOME BASIC COMPUTER OPERATIONS AND WASTED MY TIME DURING A CRITICAL UPGRADE OF MY PC. Do not get me wrong...he knows a lot about some PC things, based on what he explained to me, but they were not things I needed to know for my project. I asked him how to delete a document in Word 11 and he never explained that or answers to other basic questions I asked to me. Maybe he just needs the $ but it was not fair of him to waste MY $ or not show up contact me ahead of time. He has now contacted me numerous times today, telling me we have an appointment for NEXT WEEK (not true) & telling me I am confused (Not a polite thing to tell a customer) I finally told him it does not matter who is confused and that the "appointment is CANCELLED. Also told him not to keep contacting me & that I would call him if & when I would need his services again. PS. Just saw a review that he unfamiliar w computers. That is not what he told me@ He said he has a college degree in computers. Made it appear that he has lots of experience. It was a total waste of my time & I had to spend LOTS of time answering his many communications today to make sure he understands that I am CANCELLING what he declares to be our appointment and to not keep contacting me."
