"The job was clean, timely, and efficient.  I was glad to find a local small business to send the work to.  I would recommend them again for sure.  My only regret is that we waited 5 years to call them!  I can't believe how much difference having a water softner makes!  
I also have to say that I had had several estimates done the year before and their cost was right in the middle or on less expensive end of all the estimates - not so cheap that you wondered about the quality of the work that would be done or the quality of the softner that would be installed, but not so expensive that you thought you were getting taken advantage of.  The price was exactly right where I was hoping it would be.

"Andrew had installed a new water softner for us back in January. He used the existing cut-off valves rather than replacing them at the time because they worked just fine. Yesterday afternoon I noticed a small leak when turning one of the valves off. I called Andy to leave a message to see if he could come by and check it out. Since it was Sunday evening I did not expect him to call me back until this morning. But he called me last night to ask a few questions about the problem and he came by this morning to assess the problem. It was a simple fix and he did not even charge me for the work. It is so hard to find contractors today who are responsive, trustworthy, conscientious, and service oriented. "Wanted someone to come out and check my water softener to see if it could be repaired or needed to be replaced, and to confirm if I did or didn't have a water leak. They checked water softener, found and repaired a water leak, very professional, punctual, and very courteous technicians. I was very pleased with them."

"I had water dripping from my kitchen ceiling from an upstairs bathroom. I called Allen Plumbing as they had done a great job installing a water heater for me before. I contacted them around noon and they called me back within the hour advising someone could be at my house in 30 minutes. They arrived right on time. 
A hole had to be cut in the ceiling to figure out where the water was leaking. He figured out where the leak was coming from and caulked around an area to stop it. We discussed the toilet possibly leaking as well and he went ahead and pulled and replaced the seal on the toilet.
He then cleaned all the area where the ceiling had to be cut- vacuumed up all of the pieces and even wiped the kitchen floor. 
My two experiences with this company have been top notch. Very prompt, knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely call them again if I have further plumbing needs.

"This is the 3rd time we have used Pat Pennington to resurface bathtubs. Each time the experience has been fantastic from start to finish. The quality of the work is outstanding. He brings old bathtubs back to life. Whether the tubs are weathered and chipped or just the wrong color, it looks better than new after Resurf. He even re-grouted an area of the tub that had been filled in inappropriately with caulk. Pat returned my initial call quickly and worked with my schedule to complete the work- recommending that we replace plumbing fixtures prior to him coming in. "We met Chris and Caleb with an inch of water on the floor and a lot of frustration. They first got the 1yr old sump running again to drain the water down. Then the diagnosed the issue with the failed pump and replaced it quickly for approx $500. We discussed the backup system at the time but I honestly couldn't impulse that much and I wanted to review options. Waited 5 weeks and reviewed other options only to came back to the professional solution offered. Also realized the quote (under $2K) was actually very reasonable for the dual battery complete backup we had installed .. more of an investment than a bandage."

The painters also replaced rotted wood in numerous places, and completely re-screened the back porch, and installed two brand new screen doors in that back porch. When we added a 4th color, there was no extra charge. The 2-person paint crew (Gabriele and his brother) were very professional and knowledgable, not to mention skillful in painting. Two coats everywhere, and it looks spectacular. My only negative comment is communication between the painters and the home office was sometimes not as good as it could be, but that was a minor issue."
