"Kevin was very punctual and polite. He went right to work replacing the tension cables and readjusting the door. In and out in approximately 45 minutes. In my opinion the price was a little bit on the high side."

"Very happy with Elevated Garage Solutions. Firstly, they were able to quote the work without seeing my garage, this goes to show how truly knowledgeable they are. Second, they quoted the lowest price apples to apples. They were the first one to quote so I had to wait for 4 more other companies and they knew this and was very understanding. After a day and a half of having my garage door quoted - I decided to go with them. Thirdly, they arrived promptly, and was very open to all my questions. They did a fantastic job and answered any questions I had and they gave me instructions on how to maintain my garage door. Lastly, Jordan whom I dealt with on the phone, I called him several times and was very professional and patient with me, giving me details on which opener I will get what the features are, etc. I think David is the name of the guy who actually did the work and he was very professional. I recommend this company and you will not be disappointed, I guarantee it!"

"Repairs were done promptly and efficiently once parts were available. Services were courteous, professional and done to our complete satisfaction. The spring on both sides of the garage door was replaced and lubrication was applied for added servicing. Excellent work and reasonable prices. Would definitely use again and highly recommend to others."

"The person who did the work was knowledgeable. He was efficient. He was polite. He checked the springs for any obvious issues. He told me how old my Lift Master motor was and about how long it could last. He suspected the safety eye sensors were the issue. He replaced them. It *seems* to have fixed the problem. The garage door has worked several times in a row. The cost wasn't bad, but for 15 minutes of work, $160.50 seems a little high. OH well. It's cheaper than having a plumber do the plumbing for a new sink. I should have been a plumber. I'll hire them again if I ever need work done on the garage door, opener, or sensors."

FAQs for garage door opener installation and replacement projects in Advance, NC

A chain-drive opener costs less, but it’s louder and needs more upkeep. If your budget allows, a belt-drive model is often the smarter long-term buy, especially for an attached garage with a bedroom above where noise matters. The decision between a chain or belt opener comes down to your budget and needs, and your garage door opener installer can help you choose an option that best suits you.

Choosing the right horsepower for your garage door opener is crucial for safe and efficient performance. Your garage door’s design and material determine the required horsepower. A single-car garage demands a half horsepower rating, while a two-car garage requires a rating between three-fourths and 1.25 horsepower. Selecting the proper power level ensures optimum performance and durability over the life of the opener.

Plan on a quick garage door tune-up once or twice a year. Tighten the chain or belt, lubricate moving parts, test the safety sensors, and swap out weak batteries in the remotes or backup unit. A few dollars in lubricant and 30 minutes of work can fend off costly repairs, keep the door running smoothly, and help the opener hit its full life expectancy.
