Been in my 1947 home for almost 12 years struggling with drain issues and tried to handle on our own. Every year renting a machine from home Depot, lugging it to the basement and just clearing a bit of the drain. Other issues using snakes and cutting into pipes. Made it work. We had a major issue 4 years ago and had to look for help. American Sewer was out the same day and took care of business on the main drain.
